RV Antifreeze in your travel trailer water lines.

Please note there are several options when winterizing your RV. You can blow the lines out with air, drain all the water and hope for the best or do what I’ve done. Hope it helps and I look forward to your feedback!

I love mine Granted my range is only 440 yds but hit a 6 inch steel plate consistently and have never seen anyone do that at the range I’m using a Arken scope and it’s heavy but super accurate Need a bigger range Bought what I could afford and I can out shoot most of the people there and they have way more expensive ones than me Guess it’s not all about money sometimes Would love the more expensive ones but I shoot fine with this for now Not too mention I’m just getting started on long range and love it Just need more money lol
I check his website and there is nothing about the fridge fan kit's? Is there another site? Thanks. Bob
Following.. Definitely interested to know if he got anything
Our fifth wheel had a laundry shoot in the bathroom . I left that cabinet door open during winter and duct line was open to the basement. Got rid of the 15 year old 5th wheel in 2019. And bought a nice two axel popup in 2021
I kept a small ceramic heater in the fifth wheel basement and never winterized it and never had any plumbing issues, but I drained the lines. Our winter weather in central nc is usually not nearly as cold as Utah
We prefer cold weather camping
Thanks. Simpler than I thought.
Pretty good video. Only thing I do different is put the anode back in with fresh Teflon tape to keep the threads from rusting. Don't know if it's necessary though.
My tripod is arriving tomorrow. I’m a huge fan of Athlon products I own several and always been impressed with their quality for the price you pay even compared to other name brands. I’ve been waiting since shot show for these to come in stock.
Repeal the NFA. We shouldn't have to pay a tax to make firearms quieter.
Good video. Finally something worth watching
Should do another test with a wide array of lubes and greases
I agree, not a real world scenario. I use barricade because I live in a travel trailer. No salt and vinegar or over exposure. Working great. Thanks for your time you put in on this experiment.
Consider taking a picture (so viewers can zoom in) BEFORE AND AFTER RESULTS. THANKS BROTHER!
I would be curious to see if there was any difference if the oils had time to penetrate and dry for a day or so before trying the salt and vinegar mix.
100 bucks for a magazine?!?! Hell naw!
Wouldn't buy pig lube just because of its size to freaking small period. So many others that do a good job at protection and lubrication.
Maybe that's because you don't have to USE so much at any given time...much less having to put on another coat. That's the principle behind "concentrated". A little dab is all it takes.
What scopes do you have on the two of them?
Now if they made them for pistol as well instead of for only rifle.
What is the overall length of the Savage with the stock collapsed compared to extended?
Great review, Good job, You got a new subscriber ! Cheers
When he was talking and pulling the trigger I imagined how funny it would be if a live round was in the chamber, especially considering he didn't have ear pro on.
When do you come in contact with Salt and Vinegar in the environment? Vinegar introduces an acidic environment that is NOT normally present in a 'Real World' scenario. A fairer test would be plain water over the course of a few days. I take my blued rifles into the Alaskan Bush on occasion and never have a problem using Barricade on any blued surface. Again .... do a better test without the salt and vinegar. Of course ... bacon fat will repel water, but I would argue that Lucas Red N Tacky would work better than all of them and not cost $13 for a 1/2 ounce like the Pig Lube. It's a gimmic. Anything that is labeled 'Gun lube' these days is bound to suck a few people in.
roostershooter76 Well sweat contains lots of salt and our skin is naturally slightly acidic so it seems like a fair test to me. My own sweat has caused surface rust on guns over the course of one day of carry (roofer in Georgia, it gets hot).
100 dollars for a mag
I want to start this off as saying that I have never taken the time to bash any company the way I am about to bash Savage Firearms. I purchased a Savage Model 10 BA Stealth so that I could shoot long distance firearm competitions with my father. I purchased the rifle after seeing the rifle on display at the Shot Show in Las Vegas. When I brought the rifle home I mounted a NightForce scope and wanted to sight the rifle in. The rifle would not group on paper. The groups were greater than 12 inches at 75 yards. I did some reading and discovered that the QD mount I was using might not grip the rifle the way I had hoped. So I purchased a HD rail from the company that made the rail for Savage to fix this problem. I remounted the rifle and again took it out to the range using Prime Match Ammo. Again, this rifle was shooting a group greater than a foot. In this process I wasted Over $80 in ammo, and another $60 on the rail. I called Savage they said they wanted to examine the rifle, so I then sent them the rifle. Three weeks go by and I call them to ask what was wrong, they then said they were going to rebuild the rifle. Fast forward five weeks, they still hadn’t finished the rebuild, so I asked for a replacement rifle, they said they would ship a replacement but it would take another three weeks for “processing.” The next day I get a call that they managed to fix mine in a day and it shot a .7in group at 100 yards. So I decided to just take the old rifle knowing that it could guarantee accuracy. Savage didn’t tell me to when they were gonna send it. I called and asked for a shipping number when I received the tracking # it had already been delivered. This is where this disaster in customer service gets worse. I had recently been traveling on assignment, I had been calling and telling Savage to ship to my home location in Ohio. They had on record three instances where I had told them to ship it to my home location. Fast forward 10 days and Savage does not call, they still haven’t had UPS pick up the rifle, my rifle has been gone for 13 weeks. You know what they offered me? A hat or an extra magazine. Worst company I have ever done business with. Their products are defective, their customer service is worst in the business, I will never own or talk about Savage in a positive way again.
saw this video, my local store had a ruger and savage . this video made me choose the savage. I dropped a very expensive scope on it. first shot was 4-5 feet to the right at 75 yards... wow... I couldn't even achieve zero even with the windage totally maxed out left.. really bummed... off to savage it goes....after about 40 rounds, 4 trips to the range, remount the scope 4 times... you get what you pay for on the bright side I shot sub moa, it was just a bit right. I hear the customer service is good and I'm about to find out. turns out the way the barrel is set to the receiver by design when they crank it down it gets a little off. in my guns case , a lot.
WOW! That's pretty amazing, actually... Gonna try some of the Pig Lube. Thanks for posting! (No relation, AFAIK, to the OP...) :D
Savage 10 GRS, Ashbury Precision, or 10 BA Stealth. Which is Most accurate and the best overall long distance sniper in 6.5?
For more information on Piglube check them out here. www.concealedcarry.com/product/pig-lube-5-oz-squeeze-tube/?aid=dtspencer2320
thank you for watching!
I don't recommend MDT 10 round mags, since they only fit 9 rounds.... Go magpul and never look back.
Good short review. Where you shooting at has a 1000yd range? and is that in utah as well if so where is?
Justin Valenzuela I was at North Springs range at Price, Utah. this was filmed on the 100 yard range but we later shot on the 1000 yard.
Awesome ya I was just wondering because I live in SLC County and we have the lee kay center but I don't think there farthest range goes out to 1000
It is actually only about 8 ounces lighter that the Ruger PRS
Mike Simpson I have both and on a scale there is actually 4.6 lbs difference
waiting for the follow up video. how'd it do at 100 and 1000
grr ummmpee sorry for the delay I'm healing from shoulder surgery (not shooting related lol) shot .4 inches on a 5 round group at 100 and 5.7 inches on 5 rounds at 1000
will it work since its in 308
Juan Pantoja yes they will be ordered based on the caliber you choose
Hi. I watched your video on the Savage 10 BA Stealth in 6.5 Creedmoor. I grew up in Price, Utah, and now live in Houston, Texas. I am interested in seeing how well the Savage shot at 100 yards and then at 1,000 yards. Do you have a video for shooting the Savage BA 10? I looked at your other videos and didn't seem to find one. Thanks, Travis Mansfield
Where can I order that tikka ?
totljag1 Brads Guns and Ammo in Eureka, UT. he ships all over
Thanks , I look him up now ! Good video 😬
totljag1 WARNING: Tikkas are EXTREMELY hard to get parts for. Being adopted by Benelli, they are forgein and parts are uncommon at times.
Interesting vid. thanks
who doesn't like the trigger?
B Jebe I have heard several complain about the accutrigger "pre-trigger" safety. personally I don't mind it at all.
Interesting result. I'm going to have to out and try something similar. The cold bore shots surprised me. Well done and thanks.
Eric Six I think I figured it out, the cci ammo has a wax coating. I believe the wax was solidifying in the cold throwing the cold bore off. I'll try some more with an oil lubricant and see if it acts differently
Makes sense. It almost has to be something odd like that. Cold Bore was just too far out, especially considering the very nice 4 shot groups you got afterwards. Thanks for the update Dustin.
Where is the video with the grouping shoot?
Both are beautiful rifles! I checked out the Stealth at my local Big 5 and I love it! Been trying to find a video of someone shooting it but no luck so far. Any idea of when you'll have a long range video posted?
where are the reviews of you shooting it?

If it is using a MDT chassis, it should be no problem to buy a folding stock adapter. They go for around $100. Just putting this out there if it's a dealbreaker for some of you.
The ruger precision rifle is not built on the ruger American. It's a whole new receiver system. I do appreciate the value of the savage model 10, and how far savage has gone with perfecting the system by adding variety within the model 10 line.
Jon M respectfully I beg to differ sir. as you can read from this article in American Rifleman it is in fact an American Action www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2015/7/17/ruger-precision-rifle/
Thank you sir for the short review. Honestly, Ruger or Savage should do just fine. But if it saves me some money then I'll go with the Savage Stealth. But that's just me.🍺😆👍
What kind of set up on your Tikka? What optic?
jck197 krg xray chassis, blue printed action, krieger barrel and bushnell elite LRHS scope
Nice gun I still like the ruger better. But great to put another precision rifle around the same price point. Great job.
Anymore info/video on this rifle? I ordered one last week and got my scope in today. Just waiting on the rifle to show up. Not a lot of info on RUclips about these yet so I appreciate what you're putting out there.
John Roach yes sir, I can report that this gun is shooting sub 1/2 MOA with factory eldm 140 grain hornady ammo. I have also worked a load with 140 amax and imr 4451 with great results. my son and I hit a milk jug at 1000 yards with it recently. stay tuned for more videos
Did you ever do the video of the shots with this rifle? Im thinking about picking one up in a few days and wanted to see the results and what you think about it now
50 Stitches Steel I didn't sorry, but it was .478 on a 5 shot group.
Dustin Spencer Excellent
50 Stitches Steel I'm shooter 5 at 1000 yards on a milk jug ruclips.net/video/YMOMXXZ8TP4/видео.html&sns=em
Dustin Spencer z Nice shot brother! I thought I reconized you in that video.. I just dropped in a Timney trigger in mine and finally got the adjustments needed to fix my trigger. I can start getting my drop data reliably now without having to take my barrel off to fix the trigger after every box of ammo I would shoot
