The U-blox ZED-F9P is much better than the NEO-M8T. - RTK fix in less than 5 seconds after startup. - The ZED-F9P is far more robust and does not care about trees or buildings blocking some its skyview. - No more need to mess around with RTKLIB. I've made lots of progress lately. Video with new autosteer software functionality coming soon! Stay tuned!

- 2 Ublox NEO M8T receivers (for heading and hill compensation) - Raspberry Pi with my Node.js application and RTKLIB. - Elobau angle sensor (for measuring the wheel angle) - Hydraulic steering - There is a hydraulic cylinder installed under the cabin to manually operate the clutch remotely for stopping. - Fiat 100-90 tractor.

I read on a different source, that the mainsystem is based on a Raspberry Pi, an the system is mainly controlled via webinterface. I dont know, if Matthijs is reading the comments below his videos, but if you know him, you can maybe tell him, that more people are interrested in his system. Maybe he doesnt want to answer all the calls an (sometimes) unserious offers, but it would be fair if he would tell us, his dessision. ("....its my sollution, its only proof-of-concept, I dont want to spread infos and plans....) I myself am also a farmer in Bavaria/Germany - in my main job I work in IT and electronics, so it would be easy to adopt the system to my needs, but I do not have the skills to develop such a system at this moment, nor do I have the time to reinvent the wheel a second-time. Maybe you can talk to him, and he could spread some infos or pictures of his system, or he allows you, that you offer these pictures or infos - otherwise it is like children standing in front of the window of the toy store but never getting the toys. You can find everything on github.com/farmerbriantee/AgOpenGPS/release . Everything is there the arduino code, the pcb schematics, the program needed to guide everything.

We used this hydraulic valve from our old cauliflower harvesting machine where it was used to remove the core of the cauliflower.

yes i know , but my country is not plate and there are many trees . the best i can do is have the base station on the " veld " :-) . are you doing this "job" for some "clients" or just for your friends ?
@@TheWoshhhh if you have cell phone reception in your fields I would recommend using ntrip for receiving corrections from base station.

Hello, why are you using 2 receivers? Is it for better accuracy? Or to get orientation without having to move?
Yes, for heading and hill compensation. With RTK GPS you also have an accurate height and I found that working with an IMU is not accurate enough and sensitive for noise.

@@MatthijsMissiaen do you have the hydraulic shema? Fiat is using an open center for the steering, right? how do you manage the manual steering against the automatic one? do you use a priority valve, or a relief valve just after the Out Tank on the SWH? No oil overheating?

Last season, we planted a bunch of ha chrysanthemums with one of the earlier version from Matthijs's kit. The only flaws we had where due to trees because it was with ublox NEO m8 receivers so: single band. For this season, I orderded the upgrade with fp9's. I'm pretty sure its gone be a big improvement. Thankx a lot Matthijs

To be a 100% correct it's a web application, it will run on basically everything that has a web browser.

No rtk here. I think sbas is enabled by default, so then sbas was used.

I was using csgshops m8t board, for rtklib lots of trial and error. For ntrip Flepos in Flanders.

I'm using the Ublox NEO M8T gps with a Raspberry Pi. RTKLIB is running on the Raspberry Pi that uses the data from the gps receiver and the data from FLEPOS (Flemish Positioning Service) that it receives over the mobile network to calculate a 2cm accurate position. I made a webapplication in node.js that uses that 2cm position from RTKLIB and the data from the steeringangle sensor to command the electric motor to turn left or right.

Matthijs Missiaen, is that high accuracy because of Galileo. It is well known that neo only reaches accuracy of 10 m?
I don't think so because Galileo is still not fully operational. This was with the default settings. Seriously 10m?
There are other videos that is showing using Ublox 8m us having an accuracy of 10 m Is that big difference because of Galileo? or it is just you were lucky at that time to have good GPS constellation?
Not sure, but is was recorded with a perfect sky view.

I have followed this tutorial (rtkexplorer.com/getting-started-with-rtknavi-2/) but I get result is empty window in RTKNAVI app. Do you have any idea to fix it? I make sure I have changed the baudrate to 115200bps, disable NMEA and enable UBX
Are you sure that data is coming in? Try 9600bps, that's usually the default.
What ublox type did you use?

If you bought your M8N recently, there is a good chance that it will not work anymore with RTK because the raw output will be scrambled.
right, but I bought my m8n a year ago and I have checked the firmware version is 2.01.
