Matrix 2.0add with MX Browns on PC typing sounds
Mard good, CWKL good, ISO Enter good, Browns on PC good, Leaf tick not so good. This board is my current work board that I take to the office.

is this a regular o ring mount like the bakeneko or unikorn? Or is it an o ring mount where it is sandwiched like the f1-8x? if it is like the f1-8x, is the PCB sandwiched or is the plate sandwiched?

whats wrong with the fave87?
I'd recommend watching Blacksimon's f1 video to get a full breakdown as to why the fave87 sucks but the tl;dr is that it's incredibly difficult to reprogram and the debounce timer issue is noticeable
@@ansuman3900 debounce timer wasn't noticeable for me, is there a way to test? Agree the reprogram is annoying though.
@@matchpoint2899 Not sure if there's a way to quantitatively measure it, however from my personal experience I found that typing words with double letters to be unbearable because of the debounce timer so I ended up rebuilding it with the h87c

Comparing to your other boards what is the pros and cons of this board?
Pros: - The typing feel is bouncy without the entire assembly feeling compromised - Great for higher pitched and clack switches like mx blacks, jwks - tons of pcb compatibility - Feels and sounds premium due to the internal weighting - Simple but elegant seamless look with a novel method for hiding screws Cons: - Front height and typing angle are a bit steep - Getting replacement viton gaskets is a pain - Hard to source the v1 plate

Been a while eh? As you can probably tell I moved recently but I'm finally settled and able to film sound tests again. The natural lighting in this room is awesome! Overall thoughts on the board: - Exterior design is similar to Jane v2 ME which looks pretty good - Missing a lot of modern features like USB Daughterboard and seamless case design, which is odd bc these have been done before on the GAF 910 - Sound is carried by the browns here. Mods sound weak and especially so if you go with the top mount on this board. Really digging mx browns on PC though - Overall way too pricey for what this board is and what it offers
i think the seam was intentional and i do think it looks nice,, but yeah no daughterboard is a bit weird
@@carolus-1 Yeah honestly that's just a point of personal preference. Ultimately that's most similar to past design iterations of the 910 so it makes sense why they did it. I ended up trading the board for a 1.2 og and some cash so hopefully the new owner enjoys it more than I do
bro said scuffed everything when this is literally one of the best sounding keyboards with vints on them. Good job bro
tbh the mic didn't pick it up that well but the holee mod is coming apart on the right end of the spacebar and it's pretty noticeable irl haha. Appreciate it though!

@@har2252 the holee mod was done before tx stabs came out I use TX in my builds now
