I think some of the things you guys discussed is why BG3 was such a shock to the industry, and so celebrated by players. Even though it did what every game did a decade, or two ago.

*games being Awful the last 4 years really made me go back and beat some older games i hadn't finished so im thankful for that 😂 the Yakuza series kept me VERY busy, I beat like 7 of em 👌 now I'm holding out hope for Infinite Wealth, Assassins Creed Red, Control 2, Mafia 4, GTA6 and Far Cry 7...I just....I'm expecting failure and disappointment* 🌈

HI-FI RUSH MENTIONED YEAAAAAH I adore the chart segment so much. The whole video is just so well put together and well edited. Genuinely one of the best videos to come out of 2023.

This was a great video and a lot of interesting takes, especially the one on cyberpunk. While I did fully enjoy the game on release, it became more clear with time that they did what has been mentioned in the video and that shouldn't be ok, even if the final result was worth it and the plan paid off, because this marketing tactic bring a great risk with it that most developer wouldn't be able to move on from and it takes fully advantage of the end user hype. Gotta go now, mommy Mihoyo is waiting to milk me with my dailies, great job guys

Good video essay and good talking points. Some of these skits are a bit uncomfy though and a bit jarring. I probably won’t come back to later videos if this is your humor style, but I wish you the best luck in your endeavors.
