These speakers are excellent and so underrated! And used prices are ridiculously low. The metal dome tweeter is very revealing and is often blamed for being "harsh". That "harshness" has little to do with the metal dome and more to do with the choice of amplifier/source components. Smooth sounding amplification, such as Quad, and a high quality turntable - Linn Sondek - will make these Rogers speakers sound superb.

How do these compare to the Celestion DL4's series 2?

Those look like Jensen's Model 2. You either replaced the woofers or at least the surrounds. I have the Model 6. This line of Jensens in the 1970's had great natural sound. Very easy to listen to hours on end.

I remember lots of advertising in the music press at the time for wharfedale, Celestion and Goodmans loudspeakers (around 1977) but for some reason I never saw a review of goodmans stuff. Used to see them on the shelves in a local Trident store in Warrington

Simple yet effective Hitachi speakers, probably from a 70s all in one console system. I love Hitachi gear from that period, 70s into early 80s. Shame they left the hi-fi business but then how many of those original manufacturers even exist anymore or do any make their equipment in Japan anymore?

Perfect with an SAE Amp

I own one of these that was found buried in an old wooden shed. It looks complete & nothing visually broken on it, no speakers. It's been left to the elements, each metal piece I see, has rust, & the wood grain effect is curling off the plastic body. A full restoration is planned for it, & I need all the info I can get my hands on about it. Reading a comment, saying its a model from 1977..... that's nearly going on for 50 years old! I have to be very careful restoring it because plastic at that age, doesn't stand up well, & I'm a little scared that plastic pieces might just shatter, wish me luck with the restoration!🙏
