@@spudtaylor9 Long distance IR photos offer no evidence that Earth must be flat. The claims made on those videos do not match what is observed in reality. Read the comments of such videos for why the claims are wrong. Of course, there are those channels which refuse to offer facts and evidence which goes against their narrative by blocking and censoring those that post them. Why do those channels wish to hide facts and evidence from their viewers? The flat earth community already claims that mainstream science is lying. What if mainstream science is lying about the radius of Earth as I had already suggested? R values could be much lower. But one of the real reasons that the flat earth claims do not work is because they do not gather the required data necessary to calculate the refractive coefficient. Most of the time they also use the wrong calculations. However, they have no problem in saying "this is impossible in the globe models" although they did not use the methods of the globe models. Go figure! The flat earth community needs to offer facts and evidence which are specific to a flat earth and which cannot be explained or predicted by mainstream science. Your example is not specific to a flat earth. If Earth were flat then why not offer facts and evidence which indicate that Earth must be flat? A good beginning would be to offer any known physics which would allow a flat earth to exist in this reality. If it is impossible for a flat earth to exist then all these other flat earth arguments are nothing more than straw man arguments. Can you offer any known physics which would allow Earth to be flat?
