here to vibe with you 💜 electronic music vocalist 🎤
Born in Ukraine and raised in Toronto, I've been writing and recording vocals since 2011 (mostly DnB). Working with producers like Mefjus and Nymfo, I’ve been grateful to release music on labels including Liquicity, MODUS, Metalheadz, Shogun and more.
After recording vocals in my bedroom for many years, I began working with Toronto producer/DJ Tyr Kohout in 2017 to record and edit all of my vocal projects. Then we started performing as a live duo in 2019 and have played at music festivals and nightclubs in Canada, UK and Europe. In 2021, I changed my artist name from "Anastasia" to longtime internet handle "flowanastasia" .
I’m not a full-time musician yet, but it’s been my dream since childhood and I’m just grateful you’re here for the journey.
I hope my music makes a positive impact on you. Thank you for listening 🙏

@@flowanastasia I love DnB. I’m old. I watched the evolution of the scene from Jungle in late 80s/early 90s to what it is today. It’s brilliant the way it has transcended 2 generations now. None of the technology was around back then and guys I knew -I saw Andy C play out when he was just 16! (Moving Shadow, RAM records) would just use Akais to rip vocals. I produce amateurishly cos I love the music. So I find the level of production values that you and Tyr epitomise today both astonishing and highly gratifying. Those Freaks and Geeks dudes produce great music too. Keep it up Lady!

I'm glad you're enjoying them! Hundreds of hours went in to making all this original stuff for the show. The only hope when doing it is that it'll resonate with someone.

Crafting this set was such an intense journey. It was worth every second spent. There were a ton of people on the Rampage side of things that were responsible for making this booking happen too. As artists living in a world where we have to wear these masks to make our money, it's only natural that we stick to a society norm of saying "it was chill" when actually you were truly living the dream performing and recording. I always feel that duality of being "acceptable" while staying authentic. Its ok that not everyone gets us, makes our community more special. We have others just like us, trying to enjoy their craft and life without judgement or losing out on opportunities in your 9-5 and in the industry.. pretty sure downplaying it is easier than explaining our love of bass music and creating! If they cant relate its easier to roll a simple response to them. Youre not lying with holding back this info- it's yours to share! So who when where and how you share all you are is also ONLY yours to share! Thank you for sharing these moments and conflicts you feel, because it helps others like me know we arent alone! HUGE SOUL HUGS 🫂 just keep rocking and again share your truth on your terms. 🫶🏽☺️💫⭐✨
