Feature on Chris Waddle who was Burnley player manager at the time. Report contains highlights of Brentford vs Burnley which took place on Saturday 27th September 1997. This report was part of the excellent Nationwide League Extra show that ITV showed at silly o'clock in the early hours of Tuesday mornings. Gabriel Clarke is the reporter.

The intro from the very first Scotsport SPL show. As lampooned on Only an Excuse. That probably helped to shuffle this version of the show off into the distance. Shame for the presenters who were dealt a bad hand with a truly terrible show format.

Spot the cameo appearance by CD Tenerife in this one :-) If anyone recognises the tune that accompanies this and lets me know I'll be your friend for life.

The much maligned first replacement of the Sunday Game theme. There was a national outcry and it got replaced by a different version which also didn't last too long. RTE came to their senses eventually and reinstated the classical Sunday Game theme. I quite like this one. Not a popular view. Much prefer the original though.
