Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason, because as the world conforms, only God transforms and transformation if often times difficult. So, this channel is for all current and yet to be followers of "The Way", be it the way of Christ and/or long pilgrimages, embrace the mystery and enjoy the journey. Buen Camino!

STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
Who cares if it’s either biblical or dogmatic?
Christ said he came not to bring peace but a sword
I don’t understand the statement Richard makes about the 2nd coming of Christ is you and me?.. I really like Richard’s teachings and it’s helping me cope with life. Can you explain what he means here? 🙏
When Fr. Richard says, "the second coming of Christ is you and me," he is expressing the idea that Christ's return is not necessarily a future event where Jesus physically reappears but rather something that manifests within and through each person. He often speaks about the concept of "Christ" as the universal presence of God in all creation, and that Christ's presence can be awakened or "born again" in each of us when we live out the values of love, compassion, forgiveness, and selflessness. In this view, the "second coming" is not a distant, dramatic moment in history but an ongoing, internal transformation. When individuals live in alignment with the teachings of Christ, especially those that emphasize divine love and the interconnectedness of all people, they become a vessel for the presence of Christ in the world. Thus, the second coming happens when humanity collectively embodies Christ’s spirit and continues his work in the world through love and justice. Hope this helps. Shalom
@@walkitoff117thanks that makes it more clear.. having believed the 2nd coming is a physical event for most of my Christian life this is a fairly new concept. I believe this but I can’t help thinking there will be also some sort of physical event also. I really pray there is a physical event new heaven new earth etc. thanks for responding
Does CU require a resurrection of the righteous at the judgment of or upon Israel in ad70? Meaning, does everybody prior to Christ from all points of the earth weight for the atonement of sins by Christ before they are allowed to enter into “heaven”? Thank you.
Beautiful!
Luv this guy!
These messages should be taught in every gathering of God’s people. Every man on earth should hear this glorious message of His unrelenting, inescapable love and be free to love Him back. I believe they will.
Wonderful podcast. Who is your beginning narrator? He has such a clear voice
RR is the GOAT
Second greatest!😃
Profound truth and wisdom! It's as if Christ is exhorting and saying: what have you been doing in my name for the last 2000 years?!!!! I have great hope, however, in teachers like Richard Rohr and religious leaders like Pope Francis - as well as so many other wise and enlightened spiritual teachers and leaders of other traditions - who are helping people to renew their new selves in the image of the creator. Truth is universal and eternal!!
Brian Zhand is an inane, bleating sheep.
simple thank u……
So God doesn’t know how to create a situation in which each created being would personally and freely choose him ?? What a sad way to view our creator.
Thank you so very much. I have been listening to you for a few years now… now I am beginning to connect with your words of wisdom
Thank you for sharing this beautiful truth.
We think in 3 dimensions moving through a 4th we call time. God is outside of our realm which is difficult to understand as it is unknown to us. A spiritual realm, whatever that may be
I have never heard Acts used against PSA. This is beautiful!
Excellent!
Please compare KJV to those other versions. God’s word is settled in heaven. It is purified 7 times. KJV comes from the best sources but does confuse some modern readers because the Greek to English is not as exact with modern understanding. You have to go to the Greek for best understanding with same words but different definitions.
The best point is that each penny is accounted for.
I want to believe this so badly but the "the smoke of their torment will rise up forever and ever" shuts down all universalism.
Revelation is the most symbolic book of the Bible and must be interpreted carefully. If it were not for this passage and one other in Revelation, what is now the infernoist view of hell may never have developed. The angel promises that beast-worshippers will be tormented with fire and the smoke thereof goes up forever, which seems to suggest that their torment goes on forever. He also says they will have no rest day or night, suggesting that their restlessness will never come to an end. But the vision given to John consists of highly symbolic and apocalyptic imagery, so it must be interpreted carefully. The imagery of restlessness and smoke rising perpetually from torment may not actually communicate eternal torment, any more than a seven-headed, ten-horned beast (Rev 13:1) ridden by a prostitute with the name of a city on her head (Rev 17:3-6) communicates a future reality like something pictured in a horror movie. So then what does the imagery in this portion of John’s vision communicate? The harlot Mystery Babylon is seen tormented as well (Rev 18:7,10,15) and smoke from her torment also rises forever (Rev 19:3). But with respect to the city the harlot represents the interpreting angel says, “Babylon the great city [will] be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more” (Rev 18:21), borrowing language from Ezekiel 26:20-21, a prophecy concerning the destruction of the city of Tyre fulfilled long ago: “you will not be inhabited . . . you will be no more; though you will be sought, you will never be found again.” So this imagery of smoke rising forever from torment, when interpreted in the light of the Old Testament source it is quoting from, communicates permanent destruction that leaves lifeless remains. This should serve as no surprise to students of the Old Testament; the imagery comes straight from Isaiah 34:8-10 which describes the fires which long ago destroyed the city of Edom and have since dissipated: “Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever.” Edom is not literally burning to this day, smoke is not still rising from its remains. The imagery of smoke rising forever communicates the permanency of Edom’s destruction and that of Mystery Babylon. Therefore, the smoke rising from the torment of the beast-worshippers amounts to imagery communicating their permanent destruction as well.... NOT their existence being sustained, but rather, their destruction. From here one can argue if it their actual existence that is being destroyed forever, a conditional immortality view, or is it the destruction of the "fallen" self that is being destroyed forever, leaving what remains a created being reconciled to God, Apokatastasis, Acts 3:21, the reconciliation of ALL things. Ultimately, for me, theology that proposes any kind of eternal punishment is not consistent with the heart and mind of God as revealed through Christ, who IS the perfect revelation of God. Jesus said: "the father and I are one" "if you have seen me you have seen the father" "I only do what my father in heaven does", etc. And that same Jesus taught: "love your enemies and pray for those that persecute you" "forgive 7 x 70 or until you would have your father in heaven not forgive you" And while they were still in the process of killing Him on the cross Jesus said "forgive them Father for they know not what they do" OT writers believed and taught that the coming Messiah was going to come and put the Romans under their feet.....but Jesus allowed them to kill him. They expected Him to ride in on a war horse, He rode in on a donkey. They taught that salvation was only for the Jews, He taught them that it was for everyone. It is man who is vengeful and retributive... and as such they often depicted their God as being that way as well. Jesus came and set the record straight, but many didn't get the memo. God's justice is always about restoration, forgiveness, grace.... it is man who demands their pound of flesh. Shalom
You make me feel at home ❤😊
This is so lovely !!!
Usa business medicine makes us sick.
Usa even comodifies pain and suffering, brutal attitudes regarding medicine begrudgingly dripped to the loser people. We are a suspicious state, SS as a result,
God bless this channel and David Artman !!!
I’m curious how Mr Artman argues against the smoke of their tourment verse
If it were not for this passage and one other in Revelation, what is now the eternal torment view of hell may never have developed. The imagery of smoke rising forever communicates the permanency of Edom’s destruction and that of Mystery Babylon. Therefore, the smoke rising from the torment of the beast-worshippers amounts to imagery communicating their permanent destruction as well, or at least the permanent destruction of their fallen self, as they may be eventually reconciled, Apocatastasis, Acts 3:21
I’m loving this series god bless David Artman and this channel
Wonderful to hear Fr. Richard .
Ok… workplace bullying in Healthcare…
Hmm I love this. God bless y’all for making this podcast or whatever this is
So beautiful ❤❤
Oooh this answers so many questions !
I’m loving this series !
Wait I’m a bit confused so we don’t have freewill but what of the science behind it and can’t someone go to hell on their own free will and refuse to repent ?
😘💚
This series is fantastic !!!
Hi Fr Richard, wonderful! Thank you for helping me wonder about my Catholic faith. May I know the title of the book that covers the discussion. Truly enlightening!
“It’s heaven all the way to heaven and it’s hell all the way to hell.” Catherine of Siena. Thank you Richard Rohr for illuminating us and sharing insights which help us connect with YHWH. 🌞🙏🌕

This is a beautiful perspective of the Camino. Love this video! I just got off the Camino “The Portuguese Way” myself and have been posting short videos of my experience along the way. I am going to start following along with you. I just subscribed to your channel. I want to get back there so, but until then, I’m really enjoying videos like this.
Wonderful as usual... The words "Leader" and "Leadership' should be erased from Christian; vocabulary; it is just another barrier between Priest/ Pastor and laity.
Thank you for not only wonderfully outlining a your 5 point Theology of Christian Universalism, but also redeeming my understanding of God's sovereignty.
Come to learn and to know something more. Something we remember, after hearing this, because it is within our hearts.
I love this thank you
Feel blessed every time I listen to you or read the email I read every day from you. God has richly blessed you and thank you for richly blessing us 🙏🏼🎚️❤️🔥
Except for a short period in the beginning, before it was embraced by the Roman Empire, Christianity's walk has not shown its talk. Maybe that's why we have seen so little transformation of western culture in the centuries that followed. We as Richard said have a lot of growing up to do collectively. And it starts with ourselves, by recognising that we operate primarily from a false self with its subtle self serving agendas. The true self the Christ within lies in the tomb of our lives awaiting the resurrection (born again). The living and having our being in Christ involves dying to the old false self. And let us be honest with ourself the ego seperate self will fight to the bitter end. Only God can defeat it even if it takes a life time to the point of our passing. ❤️
Mind blowing!
