My time wearing my dentures will be shorter. I lost my teeth due to gum disease and advanced tooth decay. So the bone loss was already present before my teeth were pulled. I just enjoy wearing them now and when I can't I will figure something else out.

If u applied the product properly they would hold longer I'm sure much longer people kiss your ass because u are butiful but I'll tell ya straight up apply the way the directions state....but yeah your video was useless cuz u didn't apply properly

I know this video is from a year ago, however, I want to add my 2 cents. I Wore dentures for 50 years and very rarely slept without them. I just got an upper arch implant and I had plenty of bone for the implants. I think it is because I wore them almost 24/7. Maybe genetics, but I don’t believe all the negatives about wearing dentures to bed.

I just paid $60,000 for all on 4 dental implants just for my uppers. Worth it if you can afford it.

Dentist will always push for implants because that’s where the money is, with that being said I have a cousin that’s had dentures for 30 years now and he has absolutely no problems with them at all.

Danielle, l still have my natural teeth so I am neither a denture wearer nor am I trying to force upper and lower gums together with no teeth at all. But I can relate to what you are saying about teeth migrating into unoccupied space very well. I have had four molars that underwent root canals. Every one of those has failed. Two of them have been replaced with molar implants (which, when added all together with the root canals adds up to $7K to $10K per tooth...probably more than some full sets of dentures). One of the molars...lower right rear...was root canaled 3 times. That removed so much of the tooth that it simply fell apart...and then had to be dug out one piece at a time. Since it was in the far rear and I have other molars I elected NOT to have that one replaced with an implant. But there is a molar above that space which has "migrated" since the lower mating molar was removed. It has actually turned 90 degrees in its space...not sure why (nor does my dentist know). But if the point is that unsupported teeth do move ...then voila yes that is exactly what happens. They always speak about bone loss as if that simply leaves a tooth floating but when that molar was pulled it was so firmly in my jaw that it took him 25 minutes of almost constant pulling to get it out...I was awake for the whole thing (after all it was only one tooth, right) but it left me wondering HOW a person can have all their teeth pulled in one E-Day...but I suppose most are totally sedated for that. Anyhow, sometimes maintaining basically healthy teeth can be as painful as opting for prosthetic teeth. Yours look great and I'm sure your discussions help many people.

34:34 it feels right off of the outside of the denture where it doesn't set like if it comes up over the teeth it doesn't really stick to it so it's pretty easy to clean off and I suggest anybody who does this application poured in when it's still runny and not like wait. 30 seconds and it gets like to gummy because you can't really spread it right and then you have the problem like she's having and it gets all Webbie and clumpy so if you pour it in when it's still runny it kind of sucks better in the denture and I just maybe not waiting the full three minutes maybe waiting one to two minutes and then putting it in your mouth cuz it does set pretty fast it did for me anyways

30:33 since this was a year ago you probably know by now that putting it in the freezer cools the product down so you have more working time the warmer it is the faster it sets like my comment above I did leave it in the refrigerator don't have a freezer so mine was not cold and it's warm in my place so I had zero working time pretty much I had to move quick I cannot wait 30 seconds I had to mix it pour it in the denture maybe give it 30 seconds and put it in my mouth because it's how fast it set

I just did mine and it set up so fast I don't know if it's cuz it's a little bit warm it's about 70 in my in my trailer but I had to move quick I ruined the first pack cuz I waited the 30 seconds before I tried to pour and it was already like the gummy consistency and yeah that was a mess so I had to work quick

I’ve made calls not wearing my dentures and I had to go put them in.

My mother got her dentures at age 19 years old. Due to her teeth were knock out in an accident. She is now 84 years old and still wearing her dentures with no problems at all.

I wear mines every night and I still brush my teeth at night and in the morning I do not have stink breath are any issue with bone are my gums. I understand dentist say what they say to protect them but I have had mine over 10 years with doing this and no issues. Thank you for making this video, you are amazing cause many people need help especially if it’s their first time wear denture.

Exposed tooth ! Day 26 full extraction. 2 nights ago I felt something on the side of my gum sharp. Looked in mirror, looks identical to your pic. Very hard and painful. Unsure if a tooth or bone. It's just there. Can't get seen for 4 days due to dentist having an emergency. Going to be long weekend.

The coughing and discursive way of talking make me too nervous.

It’s been almost a month since full extractions, I have been using fixident gel and fixident powder on the botttom and I am going to try the seabond in tomorrow. I just want to see what will work the best. I don’t a lot of ridge and have been feeling so frustrated. Your videos help give me hope that things will get better down the road. I still have some bone spurs so hope they will come out on their own. I know this video is a couple years old but thank you.

I'm sure someone already has but in case they haven't I just wanted to say thank you so much and I really appreciate how you included talk about lthe whole love language thing at the end ..it's just really important and can be a vulnerable thing to talk about. We've been sadly bred into a society that on a whole finds it "normal" to not openly discuss these things so much and to just keep it to yourself. The literal EXACT OPPOSITE of what is actually mentally healthy for us to do. Although, I think we as a society have actually been getting better at this in the last decade or so thankfully. I feel bad for people in the 50s and 60s...whoo. But anyway, I appreciate that you brought it up. The phrase How bad do you want to have a healthy smile and normal life should never be followed by Ok then how much muoney do you have. There is something so very wrong with the American Healthcare system when i keep stumbling upon person after person having to literally create their own teeth because they dont have the financial means to do so. Its utterly sad. And its one thing that disgusts me about being an American. Im sorry you went through this. I commend you on putting this video out. The vulnerability is actually real and makes you a fucking warrior.

You're so generous with praise for others on this journey. It is very difficult and not a lot of people understand. Evan the best dentists with the most understanding nature, they all have amazing teeth and seem so unrelatable to your situation.

These videos are so so helpful, i have just had another 4 teeth out and basically have 6 at the top and 8 at the bottom im a 34 year old mum of 4, pregnancy did ruin my teeth more. I will be getting dentures down the road and was wondering about intimacy and dentures. Thank you ❤
