Good to see the unit in minus degree weather, from what I gather from other reviews, it was designed for counties without power, hotter countries, also batteries do not operate well at very low temperatures, the biolite will ideally need some charge before using and can then be topped up during use, the unit will prioritise the fan once it has some charge. I think it's a bit weighty for backpacking but trade off is you don't need a gas cannister and can use biomass, twigs etc and top up a phone or tent lights etc. I wish battery pack was higher power rated but guess that would again add more weight. 🤔

That's a neat little rucksack , I have several packs and my old canvass one from the army surplus store nearly 40 years ago seems to be the one I keep going back to. That one seems much more versatile for sure. Love to axe holder , and that would be what I'd use it for. Great review

nice. one of the oldest ways to travers the winter lands. the "vikings" and Scandinavians used one large ski and a smaller ski for navigating the grass lands. the small ski was the push while the other was to glide over snow. enjoy the coffee!
