Hold on, then why are the neighborhood killing each other?

In the second game the C4 bomb thingys use phones from the mid 90's to early 2000's meaning there must be a huge time jump between the 2 games. And something must of happend to the hole beasts becuse there not in the new game.

In the second game if you go to the warehouse, you can see that a forklift was carrying a barrel of radiation that was likely going to be used for the demoncore. Also, if you glitch into the bunker door that no knows the code to you can see a second demoncore in a glass case with a paper behind it, the screwdriver is off to the side this likely means that the demoncore is producing radiation, the glass used to prevent radiation from spreading is either LPX-650, LPX-700 or borosilicate-based glass.

Why are the residents attacking eachother? What about the hole creature, that comes out of the lobotomy stairway and kills you? What about the hidden sniper rifle in the abandoned military base that you can pick up?

But. If red, yellow and blue are the citizens of the lore, then why are the reds wearing clothes from a prison, and the blues military clothes in the remake? And then why did the "citizens" came back to fight in the neighbourhood, because well, in the game, the 3 teams are fihgting each other. And the real citizens of the game, the yellows (they always wear sweaters and idk what kind of normal pants) how are they having access to military grade weapons, like the G11, or the machine gun?
