Explore Desert - Not Overlanding. Parker Arizona to Blythe California

Things you won't see in this video: Making Coffee for 5 minutes. Setting up ridiculous gear for 10 minutes. Cooking some elaborate meal for yet another 15 minutes. Traveling 6.9 miles in a multi-part series. Talking about things nobody cares about. Unnecessary drama to build suspense. Vehicles loaded to the moon with every overlanding accessory imaginable. SEMA quality paint jobs with zero pins...

Death Valley February 2020

3 mucho bitchin' days out in Death Valley. Planned out yet another trip but the catch this time was being on a bike rather than driving. Hauled the 450L out to Trona and hid the joe hauler in the bushes then proceeded to ride 265 miles of mainly all dirt while leading 4 vehicles throughout the parks back country. Panamint Valley, Saline Valley, Lippincott, Racetrack, Hidden Valley, Hunter Mount...

Awesome video! What is the name of the long red/purple LED flare please?
That obnoxious thing is a red white and blue LED whip from Buggy Whip.. You'll be seeing less of it. 😂😂😂
Nice footage !! Looks like you guys had a blast , and after all isn’t that what this is all about ??!! 😎👍
It would be nice to scale down on the music background and leave the natural sounds alone.
I agree on the music. Its hard taking 4 different cameras and mixing all the audio to sound the same, and wind in the mic is never pleasant. I have ideas on how to make it work but trips are more about the moment rather than a full blown production. Thanks for the input!
@@Explore_Desert I like the panning shots of how the trucks are snaking through the little canyon and yet the music is utterly distracting from the theme.
Well not sure what to tell you. Put it on mute I suppose or move onto another video. Thanks for watching.
Great video! I appreciated the things I didn't see as you mention in your intro and enjoyed the sand sprays from the tails of the 4Runners as they flew down the desert tracks. A lot of spectacular desert vistas and artful drone video. I think a stock 4Runner could do the route you took but not at your higher speeds. I'm guessing you had E load tires for those sharp-rock sections of road. It would be great if you could provide some details about the route -- where to begin, some key route notes.
Same sentiments as Ed, very well done. Thank you.
what trail is this?
looks like AZ but not sure
Arizona. This is a collection of trails linked together that resulted in 3 days primarily on dirt.
Nice use of drone and action camera shots. Best wishes.
Bitchin as always! Looked like a blast!
Awesome video as always. Can't wait for more!
Just try and keep up next time 😂
You guys haul ass! Are you running the AZPT?
Yeah, we definitely run a different pace than most. It's old desert racing habits I suppose, also dont have our vehicles loaded down with a bunch of BS. No, not entirely. Just a couple small sections, the rest I map out and put together.
@10:01 That small crevice was much wider a year ago, it would have swallowed your 4Runner, it has obviously been filled in since.
Haelll ya
Nice trails
Well done story, video amd music. Thanks for posting this, I enjoyed it.
Thanks!
no cooking demo's , no misinformed gee whiz commentary , and no weird digital muzak............THANKS i'm ssort of housebound up in oregon , so come down to get a feel for what i miss so much these long winters maybe next year ? glad you caught that weird old sign @ 0:44.......i photo'ed it years ago , made me laugh again
Good editing, scenery, music, and vibes
Love that trail in the funeral mntns. Usually go in th other direction though (easier)
Great camera work. I like the minimum talking. However, I surely hope that you're not flying the drone in the Harcuvar Mountains Wilderness part of the range. You may want to research the Wilderness rules.
Thanks. As far as the drone/wilderness goes the wilderness boundary is from the base of the mountains to the top, and only on the applies to the eastern side of the range. All drone footage was on BLM lands. Closest I got to the boundary was at the old ranch which did have wilderness signage behind the house. But of course there was no drone footage there ;)
@@Explore_Desert Thanks for the clarification.
Looks like an amazing time was had by all!
Thank you for sharing
Awesome stuff! Felt like I was there!
Do you pay money to add this music?
You guys go on some fun runs. I need to go with you all. When is your next trip?
Wow, what agreat trip. Before the guys in the Boncos go out next time, make sure they do a shakedown run and get everything fixed.
Would have been nice if you provided some info about the places you went. I'd like to go to some of them and do some photography.
Cool!!😎
Glad I clicked on your tabs on my browser and saw some new trips. Found you many years ago on either Tacoma World and/or Expedition Portal. I have so many map pins from trip reports you've shared in the past. Sorry life has challenged you in the past few years but it looks like you're on the mend. Especially with this trip/video. I don't see the graffiti in Beverage but maybe I missed it. I was up there Prior to February 2020 and there was some red spray paint on the metal storage buildings/tank. While those look like seasoned rigs, the trip up Lippincott seemed to have some novice off-roaders. Super sketchy. Everyone has a different style I guess. Safe travels!
absolutely worthless and most annoying video. no thank you very much
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
Was this all in Lake Mohave? A lot of areas I don’t recognize, awesome though! Where did you launch out of?
First clips were Mohave then the other clips were in Needles or Pirates cove. Launch out of Jack smith launch ramp or pirates cove.
Big B tunes
Really dumb.
Thanks!
I love the desert lakes
Music is horrible WTF
Thanks!
Epic!
That is how fast our service manager thinks we should work.
Man, that’s awesome. Just picked up my first boat. This looks like an awesome place to go.
Laughlin Nevada. Best boating spot their is. 2 lakes and one river of boating
@@chaddawsome9302 I love motorboating
Where did you guys rent the boat? Can I have the address?
These were all our own boats.
lmao💀
Useless thank you!
Dude what's up with that? You obviously don't want to share your technology. That's dealer greed. Just remove this as this is not helpful at all. Do you know that it is the customer who suffers because you are depriving him/her of the information needed in case he needs to do his own DIY. On the take that only Toyota certified mechanics can repair a Toyota, that's a misnomer. Our truck our car. Get that?
Lol
I'm gonna cry.
Great vidieo.
I need the slow version. So unhelpful
did you ever find the slow version?
No. Sorry. I was having a bad day I guess. Thanks for your reply
Awesome video! Is that Danger Ranger 4wd?! I got an old one tire fire 2wd 1996 Ranger and was wondering what chance I have in accomplishing a drive from Saline Valley to the Racetrack via the Lippincott Lead Mine Road?! Slim to none perhaps? Looks like great times, thank you for the upload!
Thanks! 2wd Ranger with a very experienced driver.
Only lake I run my pontoon at or the river outside needles
