Marc was always magical.
In Marc Bolan’s mind he can hear a full orchestra and choir backing his vocal. I think if he’d lived he’d have revisited his early songs in the same way he played a fully electric Debora on the Dandy tour 1977.

I'd still love to know who did the backing vocals to these songs. Know that he recorded earlier versions of them with Steve & that Steve's tracks were later erased, however, either it's Him or a Steve Sound-A-Like doing the backing vocals. Certainly not Mickey. Great songs, but, do you have any idea as to who sings the backing vocals??

@@OtelliSandrina Marc said that Mickey couldn't sing, as he later added Flo & Eddie as backing vocalists. Mickey sang the co-lead on the intro on the later version of One Inch Rock & his voice wasn't high-pitched enough to have been the same one on those songs. 🎶

The high pitched backing vocal is Marc Bolan. Tony Visconti also provided backing vocals on many Bolan recordings including Children of the Revolution and Shock Rock. It has also been noted that it was Tony Visconti and Bolan who provided vocals on the electric version of One Inch Rock not Mickey Finn.
