Solo Road Trip to Austin, Minnesota | Also Some Plein Air Painting :)
Hiiiiii!! In this video , I’m doing some plein air painting in Austin, Minnesota. I was in Austin for an art festival this past weekend and wanted to share my little adventure with yall! The festival was so so amazing. Thank you to anyone who bought a painting or just talked to me, you guys are the coolest. It was such a lovely weekend and I was even able to sneak in some time to paint some trees at the campground I was staying at. I was not loving this painting when I first started it, but I really like how it turned out. Very whimsical. Anyways thank you for reading and being interested in my art! I love u!

Hiiiiii! I did this painting a few days ago near Clark, Colorado. This is the first plein air painting of many on this trip. I think it is my favorite so far though! Did this painting take forever to dry? Those 1/2 inch thick gobs of white paint would take forever in the humid area that I'm in!
@@rebeccaking3514 yes!!! they take about a month or more to dry usually!

It's a good idea to make your paintings a standard size. It's easier to find frames. Like 16x20, that's a popular size

Hi, try reorienting your quick release plate . If it doesn’t wobble on the tripod without the Pochade then you will have a better set up when you attach it and can use both hands . 🙌🏾
