This is a very dangerous video. Ages ago I made a bad financial decision about buying JX-305 based on ONE factory pattern. Now I have the money but no time - I wish it was the other way around back in 2002 🙂

How are you enjoying this instrument?
These different models don't blow my mind like I was actually expecting. But it's nice piece of gear for amateur like me. Filter, two envelopes, mod matrix and drum track. All's here, workflow is easy and it's quick to get something cool out of it.
@@SynthLDZ thanks for the feedback. It’s seems interesting, I like the design and hands on controls, still listening to videos to see if it fits for me. I’m looking to see if it’s got good acoustic sounds to manipulate.
Some of these manipulations are being done in less than ideal places. You don't want to deal with delay or reverb in the Mixer. That setting is universal. It applies to everything. Similarly, if you use Tone Settings, those settings will apply to every instrument used on that track, so if you switch to another instrument on that track it is going to be affected by those original tone settings. Instead, find your way to Clip Settings. There you can set reverb and delay, and it will only apply to that clip. It's compartmentalized. Set your level in there as well.

I learned so much by following this - there is no way to ride the filter for all the tracks at the same time?
I'm glad you found it helpful. I haven't tested this but this should be possible through MIDI. Every track can be assigned a different MIDI channel and MV-1 recognizes CC74 as filter change.
