This demo is mind blowing... almost a myth buster for me after reading too much "theorical" stuff in forums. Now with this comparison I know that, clear and clear pro are NOT "the same" in any shape or form and pros are far far better. Also I find the over marketed MGs to sound really poor and muffled in some frequencies. My ranking is : Utopia -> Clear Pro -> Clear -> Clear MG.

DT880 is impressive. I wonder why HD600 seems to have more hype ? They're good but definitely on this video DT800 knocked them out : More air, more detail, more musical fidelity for my taste.

I like my highs, so I think the susvara is better.

FYI, I have the CLEAR MG and it sounds amazing, really not like this soundtest. Very strange... maybe not well placed or something like that ? or mayve in revers (left on right side an vice versa)

I own the hd 560s (same as 400 pro) and the 660s2, and I would like to add few things which aren't very evident in the demo. One thing is that the 560s lack resolution, whereas the 660s2 have excellent resolution. The 660s2 should technically be the best out of all of them for most balanced sound, and for long and comfortable listening sessions, but for pure clarity, the 490 pro would be the winner

Hd560s sounds nasally. The hd660s sounds way too husky. The hd600 is the perfect balance. Kids and old men think that more treble = more detailed.

I was going to go to Amiron Home, but I decided to go with the DT880 edition 600 ohm. I thought a lot about it. I'll come tomorrow, but I hope I like it.

I hope you will try the ifi Audio Zen DAC 3 and activate XBASS on a different headphone, specifically the DT family, because it is sensitive to the source.

Nice idea for a comparison, just few more tracks/genres would be ideal, Z1R had almost no vocal sample.

The seven the 701 two thin almost tinny, the HD 600s is bass sensitive and is pushed to its fullest in this recording so it almost sounds best here, but there's a lot more room for bass in my opinion, that's where the DT 880 is barely getting given its bass potential, the DT 880 had clearly the best vocals and up close violin sound it's full sound stage just wasn't provided enough amp. The DT 880 excels beyond the HD 600 just not completely in this recording, the HD 600 would have fallen apart with anymore volume, where the DT 880 was just getting started

The 770 pro has a lot of low frequencies, which makes it seem to me that the other frequencies are drowned in the bass. whereas the 880 has stable flat sound, but the bass is not pronounced enough to pounch (this can be solved with sonarworks). 990 bass is completely lost, and only the mids and highs are clearly audible. it has a more gritty sound. 1990 seem to have a strong airiness in the mids and tops, while there is no sand like in 990. I'd prefer them than 990. But i have already 880. T1 are the weakest in everything. I absolutely do not recommend them. but the T90 can still be considered

I got my Sony MV1 about 3 weeks ago, unfortunately this demo does not show how good MV1 is, it is the most comfortable headphones ever and it sounds phenomenal, great resolution, forward mids, deep base, great highs, it is a new golden standard, basically it's probably the best headphones ever created, you have to have a good reason to buy anything else, I love it, the only this is that it's frequency response is not flat and for spoken word (youtube, anime, TV programs) flat headphones are still better. Sony did it, it's amazing.

mv1 murders everything except the senns in which 400pro seems acurate and neutral, 490pro the same, more wide but with a bit of magic lost, 660s2 more magic but still scratches me in a weird way like 660s(which is crap). mv1>490-400 pro>660s2>... 660s2 have the upper hand of magic tho. 900 prox sounds like music is plaing in a cave
