It depends on the wind, temperature, etc. I drive long routes on highway most of the time. At 135 km/h it consumes around 6-7l/100km. At 150km/h it's at 7.5-8 litres

It was a long time ago I had that car. I think it was around 6-6,5 litres.

Hi, thanks. I haven't driven the Type R so I can't compare. But I can rate the 1.8 as a great and very reliable engine. It has torque in lower revs, but don't expect tons, it is fun to drive, but you have to rev it if you want to be fast. 240,000km and no problems, only 2 pulleys had to be changed as they started to squeak. It is the only car in the family, that runs and runs without problems. It was converted to run on LPG and is even more economical. And to answer you - it doesn't feel sluggish to me.

It was not. The battery was weak. Swapped got a new one and it starts instantly now.

No, I did not. I drive on LPG, the fuel gauge goes down but in reality I have around 35 litres of fuel in the tank. After few days it resets back to normal.

Fuel was fine, it was the battery.

Myslím si, že to je špecifická závada na tvojom kuse, ale nie je to vec, čo by bolo nevyhnutné riešiť. Toto je bezporuchový motor, ak sa oň staráš, sám mám 236 tisíc km a žiadny problém som nemal, ani olej mi nespaľuje, takže báť sa určite nemusíš. Neviem ako hlasné je to tvoje dunenie, over si kladky, či by to nemohli robiť, tie som ja menil. Koľko máš na aute najazdené? Napadlo mi, že pri diesloch podobné zvuky môže robiť zotrvačník, ale neviem ako to je na benzínových motoroch, ak sú tam iba malé a ľahké zotrvačníky, pre istotu by som to asi overil. Ak ti môžem poradiť, tak výmeny oleja nepreťahuj za hranicu 10,000km, dopraj tomu motoru, zaslúži si to. Ak by si niečo mal, kľudne sa pýtaj

Mne odjakživa veľmi jemne a potichu zaduní pri 1900 otáčkach na hociktorom prevodom stupni, takže si myslím, že máš podobnú situáciu, len pri inej rýchlosti/otáčkach, nikdy som nemal potrebu to riešiť, príde mi to/znie mi to ako prirodzená charakteristika motora. Ako vravím, nemal som žiadny problém

It's reasonably quiet and comfortable, but don't expect luxurious levels of quietness as with mercedes etc. I travel mostly on highway and travelling with this car is very pleasant

It did work well, but now the audio system is upgraded and works even better

@@ThePrivateGamer19 I swapped the stock audio system to Hertz 165 CX and 165 CK. The fuel tank has 50 litres.

@@ovidiiugabriel1311 I think the price range is adequate. I have 210,000km and no problems so far, just regular maintenance (battery, oil + filters, valve clearences, etc.) And if you take good care of it, it is very very durable and reliable

Around 7-7,5l/100km, but when you push it then it takes more. The handling is really impressive, can't say anything bad about road handling, it drives perfect and feels safe.

Definitely 7500€ for one in a very good condition. Mine has 205,000km and never had a problem, just had to change battery. Otherwise just regular maintenance - oil, filters, valve clearences, etc. This 1.8 i-VTEC is one of the best engines, if you take good care of it, it will run forever. Make sure the owner changed the oil regularly (I recommend the interval of 10,000km maximum) How many kilometres does that car have? And be careful, the early pre-facelift models may have some issues that facelifted models had fixed (e.g. boot water leak)

@@mr.superstar7919 Usually 2010-2011 models with 150.000 - 200.000 are in the 7000-8000 price region. However you can never be sure how the previous owner maintained it, especially as I want to buy it from Germany and I am from a different country. I have seen one in my city with 200.000 and it requires additional oil (1-2 liters) between yearly changes, and the owner said he uses 5w30 or 5w40 which was a big red flag for me. On top of that he asked for almost 8000.

@@razvanaxinie4495 Be careful about that oil consumption, I change the oil every 7,500km and it doesn't consume any oil after 200,000km (although it depends also on the driving style). One year is a bad time interval. I recommend 6 months/8,000-10,000km if you don't want oil consumption problems. I bought mine from a car enthusiast, who loved this car just as much as I do now. Give it some time if you can and try to find an owner who you can tell loves his car, those cars tend to be maintained the best :) at least that's my opinion

@@mr.superstar7919 Thanks, that is what I strive for. As I only drive on the weekends for fun and have a garage, getting a well maintained civic and continuing to maintain it will lead to a jewelry of a car in the next 5-7 years.

@@mr.superstar7919 2009, got it for dirt cheap too and it only had 50tkm on it. Sold it for a RWD lexus which is really nice too, completely different cars.

@@brianjensen7368 I have a Civic, this is not my car but I will ask the owner about the software, cuz I don't remember. Yes, it burns oil - around 1 litre / 4000km, the engine will be getting new piston rings (not original) this summer because these factory ones are completely sh*t

@@nighteagle7299 I sold it 2,5 years ago. RPMs at (110 and 135 is correct, the others are a very close guess): - 100km/h: 2700-2800 rpm - 110km/h: 3050 rpm - 120km/h: 3300-3400 rpm - 135km/h: 3800-4000 rpm

​@@mr.superstar7919His consumption on E85 petrol is bad no wonder. With E98 this engines runs better and is more fuel efficient. Also Iridum sparks should be changed at 60k km if you have them. They don't last longer
