Wonderful! I hope that you all got as much enjoyment making this excellent model railway as I got watching the video of it. Thanks for sharing it. John
I don't care if you like model railways or not. The detail in these layouts are a work of art ,the skill used to work on the locomotives is outstanding. What a beautiful thing 😊
Nicely done, excellent details and great design..thanks for sharing..😊
this is amazing well done
Amazing modell railway! So much detail. Well told story. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice I love this, love all trains
Absolute craftsmanship with stunning attention to detail. What an awesome masterpiece.
Incredible
I absolutely adored watching your video. What were the key points for me? Trains with corridor connections that actually made connections with each other. So often missed out by some. Signals that work, and don't vibrate the post to death in the process. The sun rising/ setting over the hill. The whole feel of the times and scenes, only seen and remembered in the John Betjemin films. And SO, SO much more. I really felt that I was there watching these trains pass. Fantastic. too model in 7mm scale GWR, can only try to imitate what you have here. Well done to all of you who made this work of art.
Absolutely stunning. This is a masterclass in railway modelling
An absolutely amazing model railway, wit hits concept, and realisation succinctly described. i look forward to seeing more of this FANTASTIC LAYOUT; that exemplyfies a railway in the landscape.
Awesome presentation a real work of art.
Inspiring layout...
Outstanding layout
Truly superior modeling. Beautiful & realistic scenery coupled with excellent integration of backdrops. Amazing. Also great demonstration of working techniques as well as well done video & editing (far too many layouts have great modeling but neglect the "video" part of the video - shaky camera, way too fast pan/zoom, etc). Congratulations on a spectacular presentation!
Awesome railway! Attention to detail is second to none!
I could see the similarity of this wonderful layout to Pendon. Both show the impressive effect of putting a railway into a large area of scenery.
Amazing! Just loved this an insperation to ALL
Gorgeous layout and stock, I could never get near to it when I was able to attend exhibitions - thanks so much for filming and sharing 👍😊✌️💜 How does one go about assembling an all star team like that😳😳🤔✌️👍💜
Fantastic work, the complexity and beauty of all the the different engines
In the video, you mention that the figures are mostly Omen, but they look like they are from the Phoenix collection by S&D Models.
It would be wonderful if you can make more video on this beautiful layout and locomotives.
Brilliant, congratulations
What an absolutely stunning model railway. The trees were amazing, and the buildings were brilliantly done. One of the very best that I have seen. A huge thumbs up must go to all of the talented craftsmen who acccomplished this. James.
Simply superb layout, well done all!
You are an artist.
👍🚂🚞🚞Brilliant layout.
I think that the Princess Royal Pacific is a Lee Marsh model, Masterpiece did a Duchess, also a couple of engines now in my collection visited and ran on this layout a while back, when they were in possession of the late Paul Glover, and used on his Aberyon layout, class 3F 3779,and 4F no 4224.
Love the visiting locos
25:20 is a grange or manor, not a hall :)
Think its a Manor. Unusual to see them on freight. They were designed originally for passenger work to end the use of 43xx Moguls for passenger trains.
No it’s a grange, had another look and the boiler is very large and higher compared to the cab, also on the grange the smoke box is further forward compared to manors
Incredibly perfect 👍
Great video. I’ve admired this layout for many years now after seeing a video of it at an exhibition. So much so that I am basing my layout on it somewhat (A few changes here and there to suit the space etc)
Exceptional.. I have long wanted to create a Welsh Marches GWR LMS combination.
A beautiful model railway and quite inspirational too
Stunning work there. Most enjoyable to watch.
Many thanks Dave, we are pleased you enjoyed watching our layout.
