The newer sound is actually more nostalgic. Your forgetting that only true ogs heard the sound that the og scar made, most people started playing the game when it became more popular. Basically a majority of all people who play fortnite did not play or start playing back when the og scar sound was in the game, meaning a majority of Fortnite’s player base remember the sound that the new scar makes and resonate with it more than the sound that the old scar made
