The whole estate is beautiful! The land, the gardens (3), their own dairy farm, the house itself is gorgeous. Went here on my honeymoon from marriage #1, which only lasted a year or so. I've been twice, once during the spring when all the flowers are blooming, and autumn. Going there when it is decorated for Christmas is on the bucket list.

Why not develop a Downton Abbey-esque Biltmore drama. I'd tune into watch. I believe that the world would. Julian Fellowes, would probably be willing to collaborate as a consulting/ contributing writer. It could begin in Vanderbilt's struggling years into his bonanza years and the family legacy through the building if Biltmore, Olmstead a d his connection to National parks, war, births the Civil Rights era the 70's it could go on and on. It would put the Biltmore on everyone's bucket list.
