Hi Brian, I had 3 midi keyboards which I retrofitted plus I rewired the pedal board to be midi. If you search my videos I have a whole series on how I did it. Sounds like you have all the hardware ready to go! So if you buy the midi cables, plug each keyboard and pedals into a USB hub (high speed), and then connect the USB hub to your laptop or PC. Hi Alan, thanks for watching my videos and leaving a comment! An audio interface is needed if you want to record to your computer software using microphones, keyboard, or other instruments. It's also needed to connect the computer to studio quality speakers. Also if you’re looking for better sound quality when producing music, an audio interface is usually a must. Essentially an audio interface is a sound card on steroids. Hope that helps! Take care, John

@Lloyd Scott hi Lloyd, I recorded this video as part of an entire series, and all the information on what I purchased is included. Let me know if there's any further information you need. I also recommend you search for Tom Summerfield who is a friend of James Flores, he has a video of wiring up a pedal board to be MIDI and the kit he purchased came with all the soldering done. If you want a simpler (but more expensive) solution, this might be easier. Kind regards John

@@johnhiggins7140 all in family are well except for me. I have to have chemotherapy in January. It had to be put off after my cancer removal due to the removal of infected bone and a tooth at the back of my jaw. So am in pain as well as my cancer operation pains. I hope one day we can meet up and that your family has a blessed Christmas and blessed 2023. Have you seen Joshua playing on our RUclips channel lately?
