@Dalton Page at 1:27 When you talked about getting the gunk off I noticed it was dirty and / or rusty and also had the cloudy look but does gunk include the oxidation that I hear causes the cloudy look? My used rims I just bought have a cloudy/ashy look and that's what I'm trying to get rid of.

Thanks for this video brother. I own a detailing business and this lady brought in her 2013 GMC Sierra that was her husbands work truck who unfortunately passed away. The truck only had 85k miles on the odometer but the wheels were terrible. They were chrome and had tons of brake dust that wouldn’t come off with wheel cleaner, a brush, and a pressure washer. So i went to youtube, looked up a video, clicked on yours, watched it, and then went out to try it with some 0000 steel wool I had laying around and did all 4 wheels. It look me about an hour and a half to do all 4 wheels & the chrome bumpers, but it was damn well worth it. She is selling the truck and wanted it detailed. Thanks to you it’ll bring up the value of the truck by at least a few hundred dollars. Again, thanks brother! 🤟

Probably a bad call not filming the driver’s meeting. Even though it’s probably just as boring as you suggested, it’s the type of thing people who have never done something like this want to hear so they know what to expect even if they are pretty far from ever being able to have their first day drifting at the track. Also, no sleep does a ton to your mind and body. You’re young so I’m sure you feel like it really doesn’t, I felt the same in my 20’s. But it really does affect reflex’s, mind memory, and muscle memory enough to screw things up on the track. Not too much you can do about that though but cancel and try again next time or power through it. Looks like you had fun either way, that’s what counts. Totaled car counts too but YOLO.
