Today I attended ‘Boss Lift’- an annual event aimed at helping employers better understand what their active duty employees do when they’re called away from work. I learned that sometimes there’s a negative view when military employees leave their second jobs to serve our country, so it was really cool to see how military bases are working on creating better perspectives. It's pretty chilly outside, but that doesn't mean you can't still play some pickleball 🏓 I got to check out Idaho's largest indoor pickleball club The Flying Pickle and got a lesson on how to play the game!! The field journalist, Sophia, is outstanding. She has a camera presence and a great voice for reporting. She is probably very happy where she works - it is evident. But, she is better than many of the national network personalties.

@@sophiadoumanitv7498 I no longer have model trains. My wife and I recently downsized. A relative took the railroad. But, in my past life I worked with the St. Louis media and regional radio and newspaper outlets. I have a lot of experience working with journalists and feel very qualified to make the statement I made regarding your talent. I’ve assured my subordinates and colleagues that the media is our best friend when their criticism is justified. It might hurt. But they are the barometer of public opinion. The mandate is to be honest even when we “screw up”. Than you for the work you do!
