Well that seemed like a fun counter culture, righteous movement. My time period sucks. All we have is the same sinful pop culture influences that we’ve had since adolescence…. Maybe God’s presence has truly left. No one is inspired to do anything new or interesting to bring people to God. The most we have is rich people hacking the phone of this young lady who they know is a Christian and making her every move public. The generations in my time are Godless, lack creativity, control freaks. You should see how they control every aspect of this young lady’s life so that she’s a relatable, “ local pastor”…. Satan must have those people scared since that’s the most they’d do to win souls…. The whole thing was also some kind of mockery of her to depict her as a common, powerless, helpless soul needing salvation herself from her feeble existence. Apparently, the guy who did the hacking was a marketing genius.

The kingdom of Christ was populated with chosen resurrected Jews, from the Old Testament era at the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The first resurrection is mentioned in revelation chapter 7, as 144,000. For the first thousand years of the New Testament age, they also reigned with Christ in Revelation chapter 20. The Kingdom of God has been with us since the Kingdom of God was established in Acts the second chapter, and is still here today. The thousand-year reign of Christ ended after the first 1000 years of the Church age as the devil was loosed and the Roman Catholic Antichrist came into power. Paul says this, concerning the first and last resurrections. 1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the “firstfruits;” afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Paul named the first resurrection the first fruits, and the last resurrection will be when Jesus comes again. John describes this in chapter 7 of Revelation, who the “first fruits” were, and what tribe in Israel they came from. Note: they are the first fruits that Paul mentions as the participants of the first resurrection. John says there were 12,000, out of each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The Old Testament ended with a resurrection and the New will end with a Resurrection. Isaiah the prophet says this in, Isaiah 26:19, Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. We read this in Matthew 27:51, And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; “And the graves were opened;” and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. John also saw the Last resurrection in Chapter 7 of Revelation as a number that no man could number out of every nation and tongue. The first covenant of the Old Testament ended with a resurrection and the New Testament age will end with another resurrection at the coming of Christ. Jesus says this concerning the resurrections in, John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself. Almost in the same breath, Jesus says this in, John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. Jesus is here speaking about the first and second resurrections. Notice concerning the first resurrection he says “The hour is coming And now is.” Of the second or last resurrection at the coming of Jesus, He says that all which are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth.

I was part of the Shiloh Youth Revival center Jesus Freak movement back in the 1970s. I was graduating from college in MN and moved into the Shiloh House in '74. 50 years ago! It is VERY hard to explain to people now what it was like. I was in Oregon for 5 years in that group. It changed my life. I met some wonderful people but also some not-so-kind people . I moved back to MN. I gradually realized there is no supernatural and have been an atheist now for 30some years. I still miss the fun, kind people I knew in 'the ministry'. Funny, I keep thinking we are still young but most all of us now are in our 70s.

I saw the website in 2014. It was not hacked. In fact, the population numbers changed from 59 million surviving to the 99.9 million in 2017. I've been monitoring that website all the way until March of 2021 in which, they changed the population number again from 327 million to 330 million. Alot of people archived it.

I believe this will happen again with the young people of today. Especially the young artists. They're so lost and many of them are confused about who they are.

That map to the right of the screen is not right at 2:14 into the video. I grew up in that neighborhood called Devonshire and went to Skiles Test Elementary and lived right around the corner from the school on Johnson road named after Mr Test and which is within a few blocks from the infamous “House of Blue Lights”. On the map, what’s labeled 65th street should 71st street and the large highway would be 465 or possibly Shadeland road depending on scale of the map! 65th stops at graham road, I literally lived a few hundred feet from the intersection! No biggie, just thought I’d throw that out there, I stumbled across this while looking up stuff about Test and his life.

2 corinthians 13:11 "Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you." That's amazing what it says. Wonder where the generation's gone? People simply wanted to strike out and leave mainstream Christianity of the status quo of those days, that rigidness, and live together and share everything they had with one another. Just they got into drugs to help them with that and had no authority to hold it all together. Authority of love and peace...

That was "a blast from the past" and enjoyed this video. I came to be born again during "The Jesus Movement"(1969) thanks to Pastor Chuck Smith and Calvary Chapel, (the Shiloh youth ministry.) My husband also and it changed our lives forever. He is 75 and I turn 73 in a day and we're still believers following the Lord. "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever."(Hebrews 13:8)

As a man I found my self pushing Jesus away I did not want to blaspheme or mess up something so immaculate and pure ! I remember this clearly! I was just 5 or 6 years old and I remember seeing the kids on the streets, trying to get people to convert and asking if you have Jesus in your life. At that time I was growing up in Oklahoma City and from what I can remember, the movement there was pretty huge and the kids looked like the hippies in this video. When I say kids, they were young adults 16 or 17-20s is what I remember.

I was born again as a Jesus Freak in the early 70’s on the East Coast! We lived communally. Started out really really good but then the leader got a big ego and it turned into a cult. The early part of this movement was the best thing I did in my life! And guess what!!!! It’s coming back Praise God!!!!

This was a nice piece of reporting. Factual and not overly romanticized. (As Sgt. Joe Friday often said, "Just the facts ma'am.") Even though I was from Holton, Kansas, my life was touched through much of what you've described. I vividly recall a classmate giving me a copy of the Hollywood Free Paper in '71 and for a while my "spiritual gaze" was toward the west, until the Lord showed me that He was just as active and accessible where I was in the Midwest. Half a century later I look back and see how faithful God has been to watch over me and guide me. Life with Christ is still brand new and only getting "newer!" Thanks again for posting this.
