Yes I own the AD 300. I like both flashes. I like that the flashtube in the GT250 is protected but for the opposite reason I like the true bare bulb of the AD300 so it's a trade off. The handle of the GT250 is also nice for run and gun hand held work when you have an assistant. For over 100 bucks less I think the GT250 is a better deal between the two.

I am in Colombia and they don't sell geekoto here, I have to import it from the USA, the Ad300 is sold in my country. With import and shipping prices, the price is similar between both products

@@DonovanLeal the power difference iis hardly noticable. But if the price is similar for you I'd probably go with the AD 300 then.

I like the Nisi Soft White Allure or the TIffen 1/4th... That said the Nisi Black Mist 1/8th is very very close to the Tiffen 1/4th. I like the Nisi Soft White for portraits because of the way it handles fair skin... it really gives a soft glow. For scenery I will often use the Tiffen. I also like the Moment Cinebloom 5%. Sorry to not give a single answer... and to throw in two filters not shown here. I'll try and do a more complete comparison soon.

@@Blackriver69 Also you never showed which filter you were using..so from a fairly constructive criticism point...the video cant be used as a comparison, because we..the viewer..have no clue of what is what...

@@alexandroalbrechtsenaguirr2215 I actually use the Nisi the most but I like the 1/8th strength. Nisi tends to turn stronger than Tiffen.

The GT 200 & 250 both work with all the Godox X triggers however the GT400 is not compatible. The 250 works great. I've used in combination with my Godox strobes and flashes on several shoots since.

@@Blackriver69 May I know the pros & cons of switching to Geekoto GT 200 an d 250 from Godox AD 200? What improvements have they made over the AD 200?I'm afraid that Geekoto is not yet a stable company and might close due to lagging sales?

@@IkeCantle Sorry for the late reply. I personally feel the build is a little better on the 250 vs. the AD200. On the down side it does not have a bare bulb option but I don't really see the effects in real world practice. The GT250 does come with it's own fitted bowens mount adapter which is nice but I think the main thing is for Godox to get a U.S. warranty you have to buy Flashpoint. With Geekoto they have a repair facility in Texas so you can get your equipment worked on which is nice. Also the attachable handle on the Geekoto's is much more robust and usable IMO.

Yes. The GT200 and GT 250 both work seamlessly with the Godox triggers and strobes. The GT400 for some reason does not work with the Godox triggers.

Thanks. I'm a total armature color grader. I just move sliders until I think it looks acceptable :P For anything serious I hire someone.
