How Does Passivation Work?
The stainless steel part is placed in an acid bath, which dissolves free iron and other impurities from the surface while leaving the chrome intact.
This enhances the strength of the chromium oxide layer, preventing further oxidation and extending the material's lifespan.
Passivation keeps the part's appearance unchanged but greatly improves its corrosion resistance by forming a clear, protective layer.

Hervorragende Leistung; Herzlichen Glückwunsch dafür. Man kann mich CAD Expert nennen. Die Verknüpfung der CAD Daten mit der CNC Maschine ist für mich eine hochinteressante Angelegenheit. Übrigens: es ist für mich eine Leidenschaft, Maschinen, Vorrichtungen und Versuchsstände mit CAD Technik zu modellieren und diese zu animieren.
At 1:37 you say that the length of the cut relief should be bigger than the radius of the bend. Lets say i was to bend 3mm thick steel at an angle of 90 degrees, should L be longer than 90mm? Or how do i calculate this since L is in mm and the bend is measured in radius?
Radius is a value in mm not degrees. For a 3mm steel bend radius would mostly be between 3 and 5 mm unless you bend specifically with BIG RADIUS tools. Bend radius should be equal or bigger than the thickness of material. See 0:50
