Cause for some reason ever since Origins, Ubisoft has been using compressed sound files. Everything sounds ass since the last 4 games.

play and finish a soulsborne game then come back to this game you'll just toy with every single boss. preferably Sekiro since its the closest combat mechanic to this

How did you charge the triangle button so quickly?
If you wait after a melee attack you can instant charge it by pressing triangle once
