I like several Cartier watches but no quartz watch is worth more than $250.00 in my opinion. Many HK-sourced quartz watches have similar movement to the Cartier and seldom cost more than $100.00. So, you're paying for the name and not for quality.

I just picked up a Sub 200 and bought it after considering a Tudor Black Bay 58. For $1000 the watch felt legitimately better than the Tudor at almost 4x the price. Honestly, the Doxa feels like a value by comparison. I have had my eyes on a Tudor for almost 2 years, and the Doxa made me forget all about it.
