Was it filmed in the disabled toilet? If so, it's probably for people with ostomy bags to empty them. Disneyland in California has a similar one in the baby change room, it's meant for washing out cloth diapers for parents who use them.

Looks like a French style squat toilet (square and takes up lots of floor space), as the ones in Asia are usually rectangular from what I've seen?
How common are squats in Malaysia nowadays? I was in Hong Kong (yeah, I know it's a different country) 12 years ago and I didn't see a single one, though I saw quite a few when I was there over 20 years ago.
