This is for stuff that doesn't fit my main channel or music channel, basically a dumping ground for whatever I find interesting.

Infogrames "Le Mans 24 Hours" Trailer
Not sure if anyone has uploaded this so I took the opportunity to upload this myself, this trailer was found in Infogrames' video game "Wacky Races: Starring Dastardly and Muttley" however I think this trailer would have been in other Infogrames published games around this time as well.
Footage was recorded with OBS from the PCSX2 emulator.

Codemasters PlayStation Showreel
Просмотров 29Год назад
Nobody had uploaded this on RUclips from what I know so I decided to upload this myself, this showreel was taken from Codemasters' Micro Maniacs game but it's likely this showreel was in other PlayStation games by Codemasters as well. Footage was recorded from a PlayStation 3 using the Elgato Game Capture recording software.
Unfinished Video Game Review (Read Description)
Просмотров 312 года назад
From 2019 - 2021 I was working on a video game review of Codemasters Micro Maniacs, at that time my plan was to become a RUclipsr that reviewed video games like some of my favourite channels. However for a number of reasons (which I won't get into since they're long and personal) I realised that making video game reviews wasn't something I wanted to do. Recently I decided to upload the unfinish...

Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Unused Song (Fixed) Oscilloscope View (NES)
Просмотров 7233 года назад
So a while back it was discovered the prototype version of this game had an unused track, however there were two problems with it: 1. It played too fast 2. Halfway through, the noise channel goes out of sync, which ruins the percussion Initially I didn't do anything over this because a channel had uploaded the song at its proper speed and even fixed the de-syncing issue, however as this channel...
Wacky Races: Starring Dastardly and Muttley Complete Soundtrack (PS2)

Well this is something I never expected to be doing again, huh. This game originally came out for the Dreamcast in 2000 however a year later it got a PS2 version with some updates, one of those being an entire new area with new music (for some reason the PS2 version is PAL only despite the Dreamcast version being available in both regions). Anyway this is a game I love with an amazing soundtrac...
The menu theme is 🔥!
I would assume THIS was intended for the ending theme. The "Game Over" jingle was ALSO unused in the final product of the game.
nicely done 👍 Still can't understand why this wasn't used in the game. Pretty genius what they came up with back in the day with such limited hardware
The work that both Follins (and Ste Ruddy who programmed the sound engines with Tim's imput) put into their music stands the test of time, not only in a technical way but also in a general musical way! It's a shame this track ended up not getting used because Geoff Follin's soundtrack for this game is incredibly underrated I'd say, both in general and even among Follin Fanatics
As a fellow FamiTracker user, I can confirm this is a common effect we use in nearly all FamiTracker songs.
Never heard it, good memories
EA manages to ruin everything they touch, don't they? I know you don't really plan on finishing, but save for some wonky sound mixing here or there, this looks solid and would have come out pretty good had you chose to finish it.
Truly, being brought out by EA is practically a death wish, sure you techically still exist but you're just a foil for them to make money from your IPs There are things I could have done better (like better sound mixing as you say,, along with using a motion graphics editor for the images to move smoother), but the fun thing about video editing is the more you do it, the better you get, truth be told I love video production and while I may not make videos regularly I can't deny how much fun it can be. If I had finished this review I have no doubt that the final project would have been something I would be proud of.
17:25 my personal favorite. Ps weird question but if you can could you extract the voice clips from the game?
I actually was planning on extracting the voice lines but for some reason the lines in the game files are weird because there's sometimes duplicates or even files where the sentence is cut off, for this reason I didn't go through with it because I worried I wouldn't be able to get all of them to sound alright.
@@MixiMixtras oh Allright, sorry if i ask.
No no it's fine, I was a bit disappointed myself to tell you the truth
Nice!
shut up I can't take this slander no more :/ PLus I can't hear the music wityh your noises
Thanks man, I was looking for this osci view a few days ago, but the channel that made it deleted the video, for some reason
I believe the channel itself was deleted, which I know isn't the first time they've done something like that (although that isn't a jab at them, I hope they're doing okay). Regardless I'm glad you enjoyed this!
@@MixiMixtras it looks like it was the osci boy Rip Osci Boy
And also, the day you happened to share about the unused japanese theme just so happened to be the game's 20th anniversary. lucky you!
I was aware of the 20th anniversary release date coming up and I decided what better day to do this then today!
@@MixiMixtras good thinking.
and if you are willing to update the video once more, there is also an unused midi in the prototypes for the dreamcast verison which i have listed here: ruclips.net/video/Pq-7O8ptkzY/видео.html of course, only add this if you want to.
I'll probably leave that out since this video is only focusing on the PS2 version, thanks for bringing this to my attention though!
Woah, you acutally extracted the sounds? that will come in a lot of use for sure.
It was awkward because the only player I could find that worked isn't supported anymore, as a result I had to record the files from OBS, convert that to OGG and THEN convert it to WAV. A shame I couldn't make a PSF2 file like I originally wanted but at least they're in good quality here!
@@MixiMixtras damn, that seems like it would have been a long process. also thanks for getting the sound files "raw" as well, those will help tremendously for video editing for memes and such.
@@HammMann I was hoping that the character lines would be in there as well because this game has quite a few memorable ones, but what I found was good enough! Edit: I think I can extract the character lines after all!
@@MixiMixtras I know this is 2 years later, but i'm reading the edit, and NOW you have my attention.
@@HammMann The issue is, for some reason there's not only duplicate voice lines, there's also lines that are cut off at the end. I don't know if this is something that happened while I was compiling them or if they're actually that way in the SFX file but that made me not go through with it at the time unfortunately even though I want to extract as much from the game as possible. Also the reason the FLAC link still isn't here is because I need to rerecord the music, for some reason it sounds "muffled" and at some points you can hear "clipping".
