G&W Electric Company is a global supplier of custom products to the electric power industry. With the introduction of the first disconnecting cable terminating device over 100 years ago, G&W began to build a reputation for engineering custom solutions to meet the needs of systems designers. What is meaning of g&w

We used to use the joclyn swtch and the general electic reclosers but the g&w vipers are fantastic

The current flows in one direction? That would mean these are made for DC systems. Those would be very applicable to most systems then, since most system are AC systems.
Come to think about it, the Current Transformer would not work if it was DC. It must be AC. I think the dialog was incorrectly written. It should probably say one path instead of one direction, referring to the path through the CT as opposed to the fuse.

Hello, Do you have a recommended hmi or network switch that plays nice with this switch gear? Is it possible to order a switch gear with a DNP3 protocol? Can you get direct rj45 connections on the switch gear for remote operation or does it have to go through terminsl blocks first?
