Are all double bass patterns playable starting with the left? Left lead has always been more comfortable to me and I have been wondering if I should re-learn w/ a right lead

I really don’t think that Alex was complex like this and not rudimentary enough to pull something like-this live however you can hear on the recording roto Tom simmons pads for the kick and lower tom sounds the herta is not played throughout the beginning Alex was experimenting with r right hand on simmons and left on roto

How are you shooting it that fast? Mine only shoots half as fast as that
I'm pulling the trigger for each shot, semi-automatic. If you hold the trigger down it won't shoot as fast.

Why would you shoot the lanterns before you reached 99 ? you can shoot them before the ladder , you missed so much , but good video.
This video shows how to get gold, not how to get the highest score. Shooting the lanterns kept the combo going. If you want to post a high score video, feel free.
Thanks for the detailed information in the video as well as the playthrough. These challenges are proof that Square Enix and co are Sado Masochists as this one is very very stressful. At 4:10 you were credited 350 points for a Saving Grab my friend. Don't let the wisp right next to you fool you, because you hadn't hit yet. You got the points and the combo count increase because of the grab.
I rewatched the video and that appears to be the lone instance of that happening. If that hadn't happened it wouldn't have broken the combo, so I'm comfortable leaving the video as is. Thanks for all your help!
Frankie Drums No, you wouldn't have lost your combo. I just like to point stuff like that out because I think a lot of people use these videos as guides. Crystal Dynamics must have changed things in an update, because in my game saving grabs do not score points and they do not extend my combo. I've seen old videos in which players do saving grabs over and over again to extend their combo.
I like the commentary during the video--it helped. One thing I need to mention--in the Xbox One version of the game, saving grabs do not count as pickups. So don't count on them to keep your combo going.
What do you mean by "saving grabs"? Can you give an example on the video timeline?
Frankie Drums Saving grabs are when Lara jumps and reaches for a ledge with just one hand. After her one hand grabs, the game prompts a button press (X in the Xbos One version) to keep Lara from falling. If the button is not pressed, she will fall. This is called a Saving Grab. It used to be that these were counted as pickups--i.e., they would keep your combo going, but the game has changed since then. Saving Grabs no longer keep the combo running.
Do you have a specific time stamp in my video where this happens? I don't remember getting combo credit for grabbing a ledge. If you point it out to me I'll make a time annotation.

Saving grabs are counting for me. Just gotta do them immediately, an not when the button says so. So I'd like jump, an immediately spam x when I see the break about to happen

+Frank D Hey Frank, nice video. looks easy but can you give some further tips, what if we aren't able to maintain the combo to X99. can we score gold criteria with slow pace provided the fact we do everything like collecting blue sphere, shooting lanterns, killing enemies, opening boxes etc. Is it possible to get gold score with slow pace? :)
Sorry, you have to keep the pace up. That's where the challenge is. If you look at the combo number (for example, "x38"), you see a meter on the left side of the number. If that meter depletes the combo resets.

Nope, just get him in your sights, unload a full clip without reloading, and aim.for the center of mass so you don't miss.

Your video actually helped me get a Gold medal on Copper Mill. Thank you. Can you please upload a video of how to get a Gold medal on The Lost City? It's the only level in Score Attack I'm stuck on that is keeping me from getting the Golden Child Achievement. Please?
+Daft Punk Just do the same thing. Keep your combo high and solve the puzzles as quickly as possible. The end part was a pain with the enemies, but once you learn who to shoot first--the guys rushing you, the archer to the left and the archer in back, then everyone else--it's manageable. If this video gets more views I'll consider it, but honestly the end is the only part which should give you trouble. Just learn the level and get that puzzle down so you can solve it in 2 minutes,
+Frank D'Agostino I don't think The Lost City has puzzles. It's the Ascension part, where you have to climb the tower to reach Ana. When you reach the end you have to grapple hook the tower and shoot a Deathless guy that grabs your leg. That's the one I can't do. I can't find enough score pickups. I looked on the Leaderboards and people are getting score pickups as high as 61. I can't find that many.

+Frank D'Agostino Let me know when you've done it. It's also impossible to beat its par time of 4:30, to get an extra time bonus. I only have this one and Chamber of Souls left to do, but this is where I'm stuck. Ascending the tower is manageable, but finding over 60 score pickups and also trying to keep a combo going is impossible. Lara has to use Climbing Arrows to reach certain parts, and that takes up time :(
+Daft Punk the climbing arrow parts are awful. i squeaked one jump in barely when I got the gold. Just tried and failed miserably. If I have time later tonight I'll try again.
No wonder my trick wasn't working. I kept getting this perk when I was fighting death's head when he was using his Mac. The problem is I never got to use or rather keep that perk for future games.
One of the best achievements I've gotten in a long time!
