    Do we need to prove that it’s not a rhombus like if we wanted to besides proving that all sides are congruent, could we prove that the diagonals are perpendicular? Where is your way the best way because we prove that all sides are congruent, which gets us to the two quadrilaterals of a rhombus and a square, but we fully prove it in differentiated from a rhombus because the diagonals are congruent while a rhombuses diagonals are not..

    3:45. Hi good morning so for number 26 once we find the area by making a rectangle based on the slope of the triangles can we also necessarily just use the formula based on thearea of the rectangle we could do like 1/2×8×10 to get us 40?

      @acutegeometryclass 3 месяца назад

      No, because you don’t know the triangle is half the size of the rectangle.

    Hi for number 33, Is it more proper to do 0.6666666667 or 2/3 for the height because 4 the height so what would you say is the more easier way?

    • @acutegeometryclass
      @acutegeometryclass 3 месяца назад

      2/3 is preferred because it is an exact value whereas 0.666666667 is technically rounded.

    For #34a aren’t all four sides of a square congruent?

    • @acutegeometryclass
      @acutegeometryclass 3 месяца назад

      Hi. All sides of a rhombus are congruent. This is true for squares too. If this question asked about a square, you’d have to do additional work like show the diagonals are congruent or show the adjacent sides are perpendicular.

      @@acutegeometryclass oh OK, thank you so much because I wasn’t sure if we could use this in order to prove the square thing I said to prove something wrong.But I know now,thanks to you,it was just asking to make a distinction that it’s a rhombus between that and a parallelogram,and nothing else.
