Goan Crab Xec-Xec ll Authentic Goan Crab Curry ll Roasted Mud Crab Curry
Goan Crab Xec-Xec 🦀🦀is a vibrant finger licking Goan delicacy featuring mud crab simmered in a rich, fragrant coconut and spice roasted curry. Tastes best when served hot 🔥🔥 in the monsoon/winter with boiled rice or the Goan poi bread. Enjoy 🤤🤤!
INGREDIENTS
10 crabs, I used steamed frozen crabs
To be Roasted
6-7 Dried Kashmiri red chillies
2 tbsp Coriander seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
8-10 Peppercorns
6-7 Cloves
To be Roasted
1 Coconut - freshly grated coconut
5 Garlic cloves
1 Inch Ginger
3-4 Green Chillies
2 Medium size Onions
4-5 tbsp oil, preferably coconut oil
salt, to taste
1 Lemon size ball of Tamarind
1 tsp Turmeric
