Hey John first of all you don’t understand the theology of hamartiology (the study of sin) this is theology 1o1. Second you are not born again ,you are in unbelief against the truth of God . This is was an ancient heresy in the church that arose in the year 415 by a man called Pelagius,he denied the origin of sin and was criticized by the great theologian and philosopher st. Augustine, and later He got declared excommunicated as a heretic. This is the simple logic of sin by the word of God , Rom6:23” the wages of sin is death “ Listen if the origin of sin was not true everyone should not be facing death ! That’s what happened to Adam and Eve , they had to live in Eden forever enjoying their God ,but they sinned ,therefore they suffered the promise of God ; “If you eat on this tree surely you will die “. Now the simple fact of this truth is even evident to babies that John was saying. Listen even babies die ,to show you how serious sin is and how it’s inherently in every human being that arrives on earth. Therefore the simple appeal to you John and everyone who listened to you is this . The bible is true ,it’s sharp and it’s living. Christ said all this will pass away but my word will not pass away not even a jot or a title! And he fulfilled it mind you! Today we are still having the Dead Sea scrolls that was found in the caves of quamran in Israel that dates back to the first century AD. So listen ,the message is one the lord said you do not believe that I am He because you love your sin ! Scriptures tells us that we are dead in sin (eph2:1) What can a dead man do?? Nothing but to stink! And again the carnal mind cannot understand the things of God for they are spiritually discerned. Unless the grace of God opens your eyes to see Christ you cannot believe. But the lord said “ John 5:24 Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life”. That’s the beginning of wisdom,the fear of God . Rwandans like other cultures even the western part as well as the Europeans , all men. We are all dead in our sin and whoever doesn’t not believe in the son of God and see his sin and humble himself and repent and ask God to change His life through Christ will not see the kingdom. Christ said , Truly ,truly I say to you ,you will die in your sin because you do not believe that I am He”John 8:24. Therefore this is call to repentance, repent and believe the Gospel,Christ died for all of your sin on the cross .and He rose from the dead , and whoever believes in Him has eternal life already.
