I really like the anime and the fights, like mori vs ilpyo was so lit, but what i hate is that they didn't follow the manhwa's part where mori lost to ilpyo in the manhwa

tbh I've been curious myself if they would ever add a season 2 for GoH but from what I know nothing has come up with any announcements yet unfortunately but in the near future it's possible for season 2 you never know

Id hope they wouldnt be afraid to take the jojo route and allow for 40 episodes or more if need be. I just think if they try to fit everything from the start of season 2 to the end of the workshop battle arc into one 24-episode season, itll be way too rushed again. Its like theyd have to do 13 episodes at least to get to the workshop battle then another 24 for it.

I still loved the anime, I watched it first and kept up alright but there's just so much more in the webtoon. Like they actually talk about details of the classes in much more needed detail in the webtoon during the floor of tests. As well as make a better understanding of the fact that they're always under pressure of shinsu and why needless are better than swords in the tower

I just hope that they get the fights right, sure they CAN'T mess up anything from where we left off until the end of the workshop arc because characters while fast, they are nothing extra ordinary but then you remember helltrain and floor of death and the other arcs after these 2 and how certain characters have insane fucking fights that NEED to NOT GET FUCKED UP , looking at you record of ragnarok.

This show is so much underrated.

I generally agree that the anime series didn't do the web toon series justice, except in one area. It did a better job of explaining Rachel's motivations in betraying Bam. The webtoon left her motives ambiguous for too long, which made the series confusing and muddled. The anime gave it to you straight up in a way that makes you at least understand where she is coming from. Not that it excuses her behavior; she's still clearly a villain. But it makes it clear that she isnt a sociopath or schizophrenic behaving irrationally. And I think that actually improved the narrative.

I agree as someone who reads and is caught up with the series, I believe this season should have at least 24 episodes. I can see it like this, if the season 2 anime ends up having 12 episodes then it's probably going to end at the hand of Arlene but if the season ends up with 24 then it's mostly going to end at the work shop battle, this is just my speculation
