as a male who grew up in the 80's i can say this is the one basically chic movie everyone has watched growing up and freaking loved one hell of a movie from the our time i am rewatching it today

The 80s was the last decade before the internet, social media and the god damn phones. That's why it was great. People interacting with other people. Not glued to a screen. It was raw and real. Now everything is fake.

I saw Pat Benatar and her husband, Neil Giraldo perform together in Missoula Montana in the summer of 2004 at a local outdoor venue called "Rock Fest". I mainly went there to see Loverboy since I've been a die hard fan of that band since my childhood, but nevertheless, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo concluded the concert. Before they started performing this song, Pat Benatar said something like "This song is from the soundtrack to the worst movie ever made." Personally, I don't think "The Legend Of Billie Jean" is THE worst movie ever made. It was pretty terrible, but I've seen other movies that I believe are much worse. For example, "Maximum Overdrive" was dreadfully horrible. Also a movie called "Thrashin'" starring Josh Brolin as a skateboarder also was very bad. "Cool As Ice" which was a cheesy gimmick film starring Vanilla Ice was so bad that it was pulled from theaters in less than three weeks. Also "No Holds Barred" which was an extremely stupid pro wrestling flick starring Hulk Hogan was undeniably horrible! This is a good song even though "The Legend Of Billie Jean" was a stupid movie. ~Dutch
