Learn how to do a Valve Drill
Просмотров 215Год назад
A valve drill is an incredibly important part of tech diving in doubles. The purpose of it is to prepare divers to respond to regulator or tank failures. A valve drill is an exercise to practice responding to failures of all sorts, not necessarily the exact thing you would do in the event of a failure. Common sense and thinking through the problem should still prevail. Learn more here: www.hows...

Learn how to tie the most common knot; the half hitch. We're tying two, as you would rarely just tie one. This knot alone is some times referred to as a granny knot.

Learn how to tie a clove hitch knot. The clove hitch is a good knot to use when you have constant pressure on end of the knot, like when you've tied up a boat.
Tying a Sheet Bend Knot

Sheet bends are used to tie together two ropes of different thicknesses. You don't need to create a bowline to tie them, like I've done here.
Thank you so much for sharing. I intend to get a pair as a replacement to my Mares Avanti. Hope they are up to my expectations.
Upward inflection, followed by an upward inflection, then another one, and a downward inflection
yes that bulge. water pooled in there from the vent at the top. and it was not pleasant. it wasnt easy to get the water out of the hood either
Great fins!!! You move like a highly motivated Leppard Seal!! After a week of dives, you'll have legs like a pro lifter! Able to lift twin steel 133's, even if you only weigh 110 pounds. 😂
I'm on my 2nd hood now, what I don't like, is there is no zipper and the hood tears along the bottom where it meets the back of your neck. It is warm, it is pretty comfortable, but 2 hoods in less than 1 year? I'm looking for alternatives, since Bare insists they will not be making a zippered option ever.
I've been using mine for four years and it's still great.
Great video. No fluff, just succinct info. It’s hard to research on RUclips when content providers waste so much time with needless words, turning five minutes of info into a 20 minute video. Thank you!
hi , thanks for this informative video .. here's a question : I'm a man of 170 Cm tall.. standard body structure and planning to replace my Jacket BCD with DB/W one.. what size of a stainless backplate you think I should go for ? thanks
A regular, or standard sized one should work perfectly for you!
thanks a lot for your valuable advice. @@howscubaworks
Thanks, a very informative video! I was looking for a heavier fin to begin drysuit diving. I read a couple of drysuit blogs that recommended the F1's, so thanks again for the content!
There are Steel, aluminum, carbon fiber and titanium. Steel is heavy and not travel friendly. Al backplate corrodes CF has its own issues as well as high price The best BP is Titanium
Hmm... I've had my AL backplate for over 5 years. It's got 100's of dives on it with zero corrosion.
I use Hollis stainless steel backplate with a 4.5 lb P-weight and the Elite 2 harness. Very nice setup.
P r o m o s m 💥
What is I could bye a used on thats almost brand new for just $50 seems like it would be worth it for that type of price as a spare suit.
What are the dimensions (length, width)?
Looks like it's too big for you.
At the moment it is a bit, yes. I got sick and lost weight. It did fit me well when I used it regularly!
I have an NRS brand knife of the same design for ocean kayaking and love it! Great review!
This style is great for aquatic activities! :) I'm glad you enjoyed!
Best mask ever!
Right?! I love mine!
