In case you are not familiar with the term "Barcarolle", it's a traditional folk song sung by Venetian gondoliers. Here's my attempt at one (from my album Intermezzo) with dreamy video done by Josh Gillespie using AI.

Here is a first for me! I've enlisted Josh Gillespie to work with me on creating some videos to go along with songs from my last piano album, Intermezzo. He specializes in using AI to create dream-like and evocative images. In this song, a little boy is going out to stomp in some puddles, but his imagination then takes him to some crazy places!

I went to Venice at age 18 and loved every minute of it, standing on the Rialto Bridge... I can just imagine this busy "street scene" from a century or more past. Alas, Venice is now closed to cruise ships so our trip around the boot of Italy on Viking last year was rerouted and we couldn't see Venice this time, all these years later. Even so it is no longer any match for the beautiful scene portrayed in this painting and I love your Barcarolle accompanying the animation of this scene! Lovely.

I have no idea how you created this, but loved watching it unfold, music works❤well but the visual is mesmerizing.
I do know that for his prompts for AI he put in things like "Renaissance painting, in the style of John Singer Sargent, and a couple other really descriptive and specific terms. I have no idea how that all works!
