I'm just trying out the sound quality of my phone that I use to record with for out of the truck recording. Seems like the wind and idling trucks are a little to much. This is only temporary because I do plan on getting a gopro so I can capture better video for you all from inside and outside of the truck.

What year is your truck and do you recommend Cummins ISX to be a first time motor for an owner operator?
My truck is a 2008 and as far as motor choice it is just preference. When it comes to repairs and getting motor work done it basically breaks down to Detroit = affordable, Cummins = costly, and with a Caterpillar = get your ski-mask and pistol. To answer your question, yes it's a good motor for a first-time operator. Main thing is to get what you want because anything can go wrong with any one of them at any time. If you're stepping out here with the rest of us, I wish you well and good luck. 🤙🏾✌🏾
@@KoolBreezeI really appreciate that, I was looking at everything and reliability, parts for the motor, and etc., it’s why I asked I’m working on a getting a truck just needed to figure what to start with on the motor
@@alexcopeland91 if you can find you a good local diesel mechanic that you can trust or one that is known for good reputable work. Shop labor rates usually ends up being the most expensive part of the bill costing more than the the parts to fix it. Dealerships are the worst and sometimes the slowest. For example Rush Peterbilt here in Dallas, the last time I saw their labor rate was $195hr.
