This was an interesting show for a couple of seasons. Better than I expected. Dear God, though, it became AWFUL over the final three seasons. What went wrong?

Amazing show, not that I have any idea, but I imagine it is a pretty good reflection of what life is like for some of these people in real life.

In a way, this show reminds me of The Sopranos. Every character is a douche bag but one watches anyway to see if they get what's coming to them in the end.

I wish i could erase the show from my memory to just enjoy it again from the start :D

This show has a lot of interesting concepts but it’s execution falls very short. I had to stop watching when he said his sister, who was raped and then blocked out her memory of the event because it was so dramatic, was not right in the head in a super demeaning way. I feel so bad for his sister through the entire plot. He constantly belittles her and shuts her down, he has such a huge inferiority complex that he tells her she’s in the wrong when she explains that she actually does have powers. And they try and act like he has a character arch about his hero complete but in the climactic scene where he shows that “maybe he isn’t really the hero after all” he calls his sister crazy. He calls his sister crazy after she has a traumatic memory forced back into her mind by some rando. Sorry I just really wanted this show to be better than calling a traumatised victim crazy

I understand why this didn’t get picked up as a pilot and was reduced to a TV movie; looks terrible lol

I will admit, I was a bit reserved about this series. I am literally at the last episode of season 5 and wanting more. The Rock is dynamic, this cast is spectacular, and the play into the actual NFL stories have been pretty epic. Honestly how is there not a season 6?
