This is redundant since systemctl has been pushed out on literally everything
Thanks for your comment! You’re right that systemctl is the go-to tool for managing services on most Linux systems these days, and I use it within this script for checking the status and starting/stopping services. The purpose of this video was to show how you can automate tasks and handle service management dynamically using Bash scripts, which can be useful for learning scripting or setting up custom workflows. I appreciate the feedback and hope the video was helpful in some way!
No. Use wiz-tree or similar instruments. They are far more advanced and comfortable to use
Thank you for your comment! You’re absolutely right-tools like WizTree are far more advanced and user-friendly for managing large files, and I highly recommend them for regular use. However, the goal of this video is more about education, focusing on teaching the basics of using the Windows Command Prompt. It’s amazing how much you can accomplish with just a few commands, and learning these fundamentals can be really empowering for beginners. Appreciate the feedback, and thanks for watching!
@@TempcoderTechstop this ai slop
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I know my content might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I focus on creating educational videos in a way that works best for me. Right now, I use tools like Microsoft Clipchamp for text-to-voice because speaking in my own voice isn’t something I’m ready to do just yet. I appreciate you checking out the video, and I’ll keep working to improve my content!
You dont need sudo with chmod if you are in user dir
Thanks for pointing that out! You’re absolutely right-sudo isn’t necessary for chmod in the user directory. I used it in the video out of habit to keep things consistent, especially for viewers who might use commands across different directories. Your comment is a great reminder that sudo can often be skipped in user-owned folders. I appreciate your feedback-it’s what makes this channel even better!
You can do this with any programming language. I prefer bash over powershell though
yep absolutely correct, I've made a video about it in bash as well. but for coding system monitoring I like python with the psutil package 🍻
Thank you so much for watching! 🎉 I create these videos using Microsoft's Clipchamp for video editing and text-to-speech for voiceovers. My goal is to simplify the creation process since about 80% of the work is video editing and 20% sysadmin content. By focusing on the essentials, I can share more tips and tutorials with you all, faster and with less friction. Let me know what you think about the format, and feel free to share any questions or feedback - I’m here to keep improving and make learning PowerShell (and more) as accessible as possible! 🚀

I know the voice is AI but what model did you use to generate it? Fish speech?
Absolutely AI voiceover wouldn’t like to destroy u with my swenglish. But I use Clipchamp Microsoft’s video editor. I only use the option text to speech. Maybe one day I will do the voice over my self but still learning. Have a nice day
@@TempcoderTech I’m confused. But I think I understood.

Why so long Windoof? In Linux you need only two letters!
Yes know Linux commands rocks disk space df but I usually use df -h so four character
Hi sir, could you please provide training on powershell
Hello! I'm rebuilding the channel a bit and there will be more structured videos that focus on education. But personally, I am not an educator, but I work mostly and then as a sysadmin. But there will be new videos aimed more at learning from beginners to advanced
How the syntax looks similar to php
You’re right that while there are similarities between Bash and PHP, there are significant differences in their syntax and usage. For example, Bash scripting tends to use square brackets for conditional expressions (e.g., if [ $var -eq 1 ]), while PHP uses curly brackets for block scoping (e.g., if ($var == 1) {}). Additionally, PHP is primarily used for server-side web development, whereas Bash is a command-line scripting language designed for task automation and interacting with the system shell. The similarities you see likely stem from both being procedural languages with comparable flow control structures like if statements and loops.
Terrible music
Thanks for commenting and I’m rebuilding this channel right now and will absolutely think about lower the use of music

Flatpak > snap

As a German I'm conflicted about introductory lines such as "Embrace the power of SS".
Yes sorry I do know about the double ⚡️but here the command stands for socket statistics = ss. So nothing to do with the natsi. Cheers 🍻
'PromoSM' 😝
just do apt purge terminator
Absolutely correct but In the context of package management on Linux systems using the APT (Advanced Package Tool) package manager, both apt purge and apt remove are commands that can be used to uninstall packages, but they have different behaviors. apt purge: Purpose: The apt purge command is used to remove a package along with its configuration files. Effect: It not only removes the package binaries but also deletes the configuration files associated with the package. sudo apt purge <package_name> apt remove: Purpose: The apt remove command is used to uninstall a package, but it leaves the configuration files intact. Effect: It removes the package binaries but retains the configuration files. This can be useful if you plan to reinstall the package later and want to keep your configuration settings. sudo apt remove <package_name> The key difference between apt purge and apt remove is that apt purge not only removes the package but also deletes its configuration files, while apt remove only removes the package binaries, leaving the configuration files untouched. Depending on your needs, you can choose the appropriate command. If you want to completely remove a package, including its configuration files, apt purge is the choice. If you want to retain the configuration files, use apt remove.
