Welcome! I am a pretty normal dude who grew up in Connecticut by the shore line. Photographer professionally, recreational videographer. I enjoy many kinds of music, but mainly 2000’s Rock/Pop Punk and Any era of rap. You will see videos mostly from the state of Connecticut, and your occasional videos from out of state. The camera gear I own is a Canon EOS R, Canon EOS R7, Sigma 150-600mm f5-6.3 sports, Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L MKIII, Canon EF 17-40mm f4L Canon RF 24-105mm f4-7.1, and a DJI Mini 2. I edit Photos and videos on an Apple Macbook Pro M3 pro. I do have an instagram account which hosts most of my photography which is @chase_t_walker_photography. Thanks for taking a look at my channel, enjoy!
The Valley Railroad: A night with the Essex steam train's North Pole Express
Welcome all! Today what I have for you is quite the video, it is one of the longest videos i've uploaded, but I did my best to keep everything interesting, well edited, and entertaining to watch. I tried to keep as little empty screen with no train in as possible. This video was filmed on two separate nights, and took quite a bit of time to edit, and i'm pretty proud with how it turned out. I hope you all enjoy as well and had a merry Christmas, and I hope those of you reading before new year's, have a happy holidays!

Reading and Northern: Red GP's on the Reading Line
Просмотров 140Месяц назад
Welcome! Today what I have for you is a video I filmed last December. It features the Reading and Northern's PIME job, and the Pittston to Scranton job. The main attraction to this is the pretty scenes including the vosburg tunnel along the Pittston to Tunkhannok line and the very intrestig GP's, including two GP39R's (esentially GP30's). Hope you all enjoy! Taken with a Canon EOS R with a Cano...
Strasburg Railroad: A winter day with Strasburg Railroad 89

Welcome all! Today what I have for you is a pretty special video. Last year, me and a few friends went out to the Strasburg Railroad in search of decapod number 90. While the search was successful, we also got a special bonus with Ex Canadian National number 89. She was putting in the work, hauling the half hourly Christmas time trains. 90 was quite the show, but with 89's small size, she was b...

The Valley Railroad: 97’s Charge to Chester in the Fall Foliage

Welcome all! Today what I have for you is 97’s first few days during the Fall Foliage for the 2024 season. 97 hasn't run the fall trips in regular rotation since 2011. So this was quite a site to see 97 trecking through the Connecticut small town communities and waterside scenes with orange red and yellow leaves surrounding. 97 put on quite the show, and finally has its regular valley railroad ...

Welcome all! Today what I have for you is a very bright day on the valley, I am out recording and photographing Valley Railroad 97. She was built in 1923 by Alco, but at the time Cooke locomotive works. She was due to be sent to cuba, but never ended up making it there. It ended up being stored at the Cooke locomotive works until 1926 when the factory was shut down. It then was sold to the Birm...

This is simply a private video showing myself having a little fun with N&W 611's 3 chime whistle. (note the thumbnail is in fact my photo) And for the love of god, no, I don’t still look like this. I was 12 here, I’m almost 16 now. Just made it public so I don’t have trouble watching the vid myself

Welcome all! Sorry for the huge break, been busy with life and really haven't had the motivation to edit or upload. Anyway, today what I have for you is one of the last weeks of beloved Baldwin built 2-10-0 Great Western 90. She is due for her 1472 day inspection. 90 put on quite the show, and we had quite the day. Enjoy! Gear used: Canon EOS R with a Canon RF 24-105mm f4-7.1mm Thumbnail Photo:...
Reading and Northern: Fall time Freights

Welcome all! Today what I have for you is the last of the trio of videos from my recent visit to the Reading and Northern. Today what I have for you is their mainline fast freight. NRFF (North Reading Fast Freight) runs from North Reading yard to Pittston. We chased the train from the southern most of the railroad (North Reading) to the WYE at Jim Thorpe. Afterward, we went to go see WHFF at th...

Caboose Ride on the Connecticut Valley Railroad
i would love to see more content from this railroad if you have any plans to go back
Please next time you film 89 make a video on her waddling. I think its cute and she waddles the most out of any engine i have seen. I love the fact you cna work something so hard on a short line like strasburg. 475 also waddles too if you look closely. Great job and im subbed
Do we know the story behind the new whistle? What kind is it?
It’s a B&M 6 chime that’s all I know
@@ShutsRL yeah
Its on lease from a valley employee from what I know, b&m 6 chime to my knowledge, however oddly it has a lunkenheimer imprinted into the shaft of the whistle, never bothered to ask about that.
@@Chasetwalkerphotography makes sense. I figure they will take it off for the spring
@ I highly doubt 3025 will run much this year. It’s got pretty little boiler time. 97 is at a point where it is a reliable engine and I’d guess 97 and 40 will be in rotation much more often than 3025 this year, but take it with a grain of salt
Wow, that whistle sounds very cool off in the distance. Nice shot.
Valley Railroad #97 (Built by American Locomotive Company’s Crooke Works in February 1926) charging towards Chester on the Valley Railroad in Essex, Connecticut.
damn i wish i got to see that
meh, it was kinda cool but nun special
@@ChasetwalkerphotographyI’ve never seen that many people at dock road
@@EssexSteamTrainClips yeah it was pretty wild
Another trip with Valley #97 to enjoy too! I never get tired of this locomotive!
Nice! My hometown line! (8530 my beloved) I'm actually modeling CSOR in N scale right now. Was this all in one day or spread out?
@@ShortAttentionSpanRailfan One night, I got pretty lucky so I was able to see all three trains in one night
@@Chasetwalkerphotography Nice! I definitely gotta try that!
@@ShortAttentionSpanRailfan I got extremely lucky so it won’t always happen. CSO-2 is pretty common and so is CSO-1, usually Monday-Friday if I remember right, CSO-5 is an extra.
I never get tired of this engine #97! ❤❤❤❤❤
Sounds like the polar express
Where do they turn it around to leave Jim Thorpe...?
@@4339jk Yes, they use the Jim Thorpe wye to turn the train around
sound like a whistle
Where is the spot at 7:50?
When you park at the spot to get to tamaqua tunnel you come out at this spot. You have to walk across the bridge to get to the tunnel. We decided to stay here instead to get to the next spot quicker
@@Chasetwalkerphotography Where do you park at to get to the tunnel?
Sounds like Amtrak
That's cool how you got to blow #611's whistle! Wish I could do that someday...
That horn is too European
her tender is looking pretty sorry
Goofy Horn
Change that horn🤢
It’s a horn. Grow up
I Think The Screen Was Flipped…
Because Bro Was Just Being Lazy.
@@LochlanPhan pretty much lmao
Sweet work!
Wish they could let that whistle rip like it’s intended to
Such a pretty train. Too bad they can’t run because of old, outdated infrastructure.
They are upgrading parts of the NEC piece by piece but yeah with the tilting system we will get some speed boost but without space for giving a higher radius for cornering we might still see moderate speeds,
Outstanding!!! The soft light and wet saturation is lovely. Beautiful engine. That whistle reminds me of the freighters haunting the night as they steamed past our farm when I was a kid.
Thank you much! The kind words really mean a lot. Rainy days create awesome scenes.
lá vai a princesa
11:46 that horns garbage 😅 nice vid BTW
Fantastic
Good morning
Why did you ruin a really good shot in the tunnel?
I thought the shot turned out quite nice, sorry to disappoint. Maybe go watch someone else’s video 🤷
2102 put on arguably the best show of the trip through the tunnel. He also got one of the best photos i’ve seen from anyone from the run. go watch someone else’s video if you don’t like his (and if you don’t like his then you have something wrong)
@@nyrailfilms I appreciate it bro
@@nyrailfilms - must add the lighting conditions were awful
@@nerailvideos fair enough but it’s still a great shot
When it went in the tunnel you didn’t put your camera real close to the engine it was from your thumbnail in your video
Where/when was this?
I guess I forgot to title the video. Was at Jim Thorpe on October 14th of this year. 02 was pulling the train up to the platform for boarding. If you’d like to see some higher quality footage, go check out the video I just uploaded of 02 in action.
@@Chasetwalkerphotography Ah, I see! Thank you! Great footage!
Did you film the 2102 in October 14th?
I did, that video will be coming next week.
Uhm I’m LITERWALLY gonna give you a visit from knuckle sandwich land 🤓
This thing looks like some kind of reptile from the top;)
is river road (where your profile picture was taken i think) where you get a head on shot northbound in all types of weeds or was it pretty open?
Definently a fair amount of weeds and yes that is the road your talking abt. Going back down October 14th so I’ll see if they did any work on cleaning up the area.
Sweet Speed 🎂🎂🍨😊😍💖🚅⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩🚅
