Thank you for your kind remarks and valuable insights. Yes! For me I consider this the prevailing teaching of the story and I understand and integrate that teaching within myself. What I’m raising here is that even in our debilitation of power and mind we are in dharma. Dasaratha gives away his power to abide by his boon, Kaikeyi listens to her handmaiden. Rama to his people. We are not “against dharma” in our trials and tribulations. The whole story had to play out this way, as does our own. But ultimately I also wish to invite people to take in these myths as living truths that are alive within them and that heal on a much deeper level than the intellect or as something to be taught to them. I see planets in debilitation in natal charts the way you describe but in transit it is often different b/c we only have so much time with the energy and everyone is experiencing it, so the reflection of stronger dignity is if it is in one’s own chart. As I say in the video, if someone has a very strong Mars as in Capricorn then they will still have their natural courage and discipline to act and this may be a chance to reflect on their emotions. Likewise with a Mars return. This is an opportunity to grow more in this regard. For a lot of others it can be difficult to navigate especially if it falls in a rough place in their chart. But of course, in my member group live discussion and breakdowns we talk about the potential to uplift for each sign 🙏✨😊

Thanks for sharing! Im sure it will be enlightening:) I have never heard anyone say a retro planet acts out like it’s opposite sign. That feels like a “rolls off the tongue” statement that doesn’t really account for the truth of what happens. Retrograde planets internalize their energy and bring reversals as well as past experiences with whatever they rule (ie; if Mars is your 7th lord, past partners).

Aloha Wendy, thanks for sharing. 😊 Everyone has to decide for themselves how to discern truth from falsehood. Tropical and sidereal are two different methods of measuring the sky. One is accurate to the actual sky (sidereal-Vedic) one is based on the calendar and does not match the sky (tropical-Western). I do know there is a small handful of “Vedic” astrologers that use tropical and I cannot give attention to such things because for me, I discern that as erroneous. The Nakshatras cannot match up with tropical positions for one thing and it goes against all the wisdom of the Vedic system but I’m sure they have their reasons 😂 I do believe there is something to receive from any reading as it is a transmission, however, and hopefully you got what you needed to from it🤷🏻‍♀️✨🙏

​​@@radhahomeastrology I'm an esoteric astronomer with a particular focus on studying zodiacs and I thank you for your earnest response here. I've studied several (9 actually) different divisions of the sky across culture and time. Comparing the western tropical calendar to sidereal ones I generally find sidereal zodiacs better for most of what astrologers are doing. The value of tropical is diminished by its relation to pop astrology and its preservation of many errors over time. That said, I do not belive DiCara is dealing in error. Others will begin to make contributions similar to his because worlds are colliding. I think his work examines tropical's distinct features in a way that's valuable as more and more people encounter both systems. You read better tho. 🪷

​@@radhahomeastrology hi! Vic di Cara uses tropical rashis and sidereal nakshatras. I have been reading his ideas about it, based on some classical sources, but I am still not convinced of his system! He is very sure about it though. I keep an open mind, and as you say, we need to individually discern what is true for us. I still use sidereal for everything after yeaaaaars of working with the tropical system and I can say by my own experience, it works so much better! Thank you always Radha! Love ❤

@@danahblanco Thank you for sharing your input here! I actually love his book on nakshatras and was disappointed to find out his take on using the tropical rashis but refuse to really dive in, haha! Sam has taken him on a lot I know as well as Ernst Welhem (?) and I just can't spend my energy in those ways. But I do feel like he has taken those texts out of context and for me, regardless of what the texts say, it makes no sense to use a system that is not accurate. To say "x planet is in this place" when it isn't just doesn't make any logical sense in my world.
