hi sweet friends. this has been an absolute whirlwind of a week to say the least. I was born and raised in western north carolina, so were my parents and my mom's parents. hurricane helene is a tragedy that I truly never thought we would experience. I am grieving the home you see me so excited about in this video. I love my home, and much of it is completely devastated right now. there are many amazing organizations to donate to, but the ones I am actively volunteering with and know to be trustworthy are:

It's not just booktok that's a toss-up these days but at my age (ripe ol' age of 30), YA books can really be a toss-up for me now. But THIS book is so good!! I almost didn't read it because ONE booktuber tore it apart but I'm so glad I decided to give this a chance. It is so so good.

Just found your channel and I love it! I have an addition to this list that I think you might like. It’s a duology, the first book is called Anatomy by Dana Schwartz! The second book is immortality and they’re both so amazing! It’s kind of a gothic setting as well:)

I just finished the Women of War series. My favorite genres are memoirs, historical fiction,dystopian, true stories etc. Do you ever use a Kindle or only physical books?
those are great genres that I need to read from way more often! i use kindle occasionally but I only have the app on an iPad, not the kindle. I really want to get one!

This is me with Hunger Games. I think the writing is awful and it’s such a depressing story and some of the characters are insufferable and yet for some reason I get the itch to see it or read again every other year or so. I do not know why. I even read the newest prequel and I was annoyed with it by the end just like all of the other ones 🙄
Not me seeing Charlie out in the wild on a tv show. Now I gotta reread the whole thing and rewatch it too. All the cringe to scratch that weird itch

I just read chapter 54 of ACOMAF, and i was sobbing. It is the second book to ever do that to me, so it's safe to say it's a great book.
