Replaying this game after 19 years so this guide will be super helpful, thanks for uploading it.

To sum up Rogue Galaxy: First 40 hours are a drag. Characters are boring, nothing interesting happens, this is very cliché even for a PS2 game. Then you have 5 hours of interesting content (the last planet). Then you have a big ass dungeon, needlessly long and boring and annoying which is literally just 2 assets copied and pasted 20 times. And then, there's this. The worst final boss I've ever seen in almost 30 years of playing video games. 30 minutes to go back to that last part, only for it to be - like the final dungeon - long and boring and annoying. Also the boss can literally OHKO you even at 999hp (yeah it happened to me, idk why or how). Fuck this piece of trash game. Now I understand why it never got a sequel - because it sucks donkey dicks.

3:13-3:40 looks a lot easier then it actually is. But I'm sure that 85% of my runs trying to get the gold metal are ended here due to the 2 tall black and orange blobs. Which wouldn't be so bad if the cutscene that's starts this level WASNT NEARLY 1 MINUTE LONG.

How can you jump on the box before the cutscene ends near the beginning? I keep spamming X and I can't get it consistently, it's killing me

This explains nothing. How on earth do we do anything? They just throw you into the factory and tell you basically nothing, kinda like this video.

You are Game-dev ? Your game is too easy and too short ? Do You want to extend time which players will spend with Your game ? Yes ? Then do anoying time trials with unskippable cutscenses (and long loadings for bouns leves) which counts to speedrun time.

This level is so aggravating, I can't get past silver no matter how hard I try 😭

This game was supposed to be relaxing, but it ended up being one of the most frustrating and ultimately proud platinums I ever got. After going through the story with a friend, I got all the trophies solo in 6 times and then quit for a year, then did the bonus level in 2 days lol. I believe chapter 4 is the only gold medal i got coop. Anyway hideaway is the worst level ever to get a gold medal in. How this got a 3/10 trophy difficulty rating is beyond me. Mein leben is comparable

Well I've recently been trying to get those gold medals. Talk about frustrating, especially with having to wait for "cut scenes" every time I restart the level. I wish there qas a dedicated tima attack mode. The best I've done here is 14:05. I either need to get better or hope my lady can help in certain areas where both can simultaneously do a task to hurry.

17:23 is my best time, I now see where I am losing so much

basically the factory is the dummest and worst part of this whole game. the towns building in dark cloud 1, 2 and in Ni no Kuni 2 is and was so much better. would have been a lot much better if they replaced the factory with a mode to level up and upgrade the spaceship and decorate it and put space battles that you can fought with the ship. thank you so much for these videos, if it wasn't for your factory guide I would have never bother platinum this game at all.

Those who think this battle is hard, remember: U can target an enemy using the d-pad up button and right/left for different parts. Hence when valkog is blocking its mouth, you can target and attacks its eyes and vice-versa. Its understandable why many forgot that function as many of us didn't really need targeting during all the battles up until now. Heck, i forgot about that too....XD

I tried fighting him at level 40 and i did almost no damage at all to him.

I remember watching somewhere, not on youtube, where the player just kept alternately attack valkog's eyes and mouth, whenever it's not covered, with jumping attacks (which is a lot faster). Valkog's dead in 6 minutes or so.

Fuck this bullshit goddamn minigame thing. I've seen someone say "it's like georama, so what's the point in calling it fruster-" FUCK YOU. It's not like Georama. This thing is so goddamn stupid it pissed me off. I've given up the factory and I don't care. It's too goddamn complex. I don't know how to connect the fucking parts cuz it's so fucked up/.
