What's the different between squier debut series and sonic series?

I heard good things about it and I ordered one. Should be here in a few weeks

The sonic sounds a little bit better to me, if your not planning on upgrade anything you should get the sonic, if you want a guitar to play with and try different stuff you should definitely get the debut. I have a Mexican strato and I have always wanted to grab a tex mex loaded pickguard, that debut will be an amazing guitar with that old Mexican pickups

So pretty... breathtaking... i love yellow so very much... i plan to buy squier affinity in olympic white but this graffity yellow making my heart sway.... which one do you think should i buy? anyway it will be my first electric guitar and i plan to grow with it...

Immediate comps per pickup would be better for me. The Sonic seems slighter fuller, but not by a lot.

I gave this a like but it was not as helpful as it might have been. All the samples have capos on the guitars and that really changes how they sound. I wanted to hear the W 40 in its natural state to get an idea of the tone. Even when there was an "extra" bit at 6 minutes without the capo it was single notes not chords. So after 7 minutes I don't really know what the W40 sounds like by itself with open chords. Maybe illustrate that first and then give samples with a capo? Guys do this with electric guitars or amps all the time. They use distortion and delay pedals and you never really hear the guitar or amp by itself. That said, I enjoyed the selections you played! The Beatles used the capo well to get fascinating sounds that fit the mood. Well done!

To my ears, they sound identical and quite good for what they are...
