New player who found the video and so I’m curious! You both acknowledge that you’re at ultra. When I first started about a month ago I found that the climb to ultra was quite easy, maybe because I used moba knowledge to help, although this game is pretty different. Anyways literally last night I just cracked into master which admittedly was more difficult and my win rate for ranked this season is only 69 as opposed to last season’s 78. I’m not trying to flex I am actually unaware and curious is this about the stage of the game that generally gets more competitive and difficult?

The one thing that I havent seen said or confirmed anywhere is if the Baltoy that spawn in lane got the exp buff as well. Becuase that would let some laners that won hit level 5 before birds too

A lot of the xp share attacker bot / carry tank that YT was mainly all around Phil, so its not a surprise they went back to running more "traditional" strategies when he was banned. But it did feel like YT was the only NA team paying attention to metas outside of NA.

Overdunk for WCS!🎉 I think a score limit for unite would be cool like HOK you can win before a specified time. But also keep the time limit! Most importantly overdunking should always be part of strategy! Then people will get better at quick math😅

I feel like a sleeper pick is Mr. Mime as a supporter (psychic and power swap) It's such a good pocket supporter but also a semi tank and I think it's really strong in this really brawly meta (psychic can hit multiple target and shread sooo much special defense).

Do we know if there are any bans/restrictions pre draft for this event?

Fennel is going to take it. They look dominant and are on a good run. They have really good early game and they will not take the foot off the gas pedal.

Shout out to Bridjet for actually picking something that could be defined as a sleeper pick in this meta.

Aznable not going to score with ray shield is a rough decision in hindsight. It very nearly was the right play, so you can't fault the team for making that call

I mean, with a "one trick" as notorious as having the name lvl100Gengar, you can't blame the ban to force them off the pick. They've proven enough skill on a variety of mons to fill in too

Incineroar: Support will increase the number of players wanting to be a "cool" support, a disturber like Wiggly or Sableye.

Support characters will probably be completely obsolete in this beta game mode. Maybe replaced with all rounders and defenders. Hopefully the other roles get balanced before the official launch.

Watching this was absolutely wild! So much happening on each part of the map. 🤯 That Wigglytuff rollout is sick!

Best and Balance Mode, Whoever wins Fights definitely WINS no last hit secure and game over, your 8 minute hardwork is gone in last 2 minute. I wish they push global version in same rules from next month 3rd Anniversary onwards, atleast give this for Standard mode in global and take feedbacks in game and in person from top players.

I have wanted to see Muk as a damage over time defender. Having it stack multiple instances of DoTs on enemies, leaving poison puddles, maybe a poison trail on the ground as it moves for a short while. You could have the Unite Move consume all of the DoT effects in an area and have all of their damage be dealt in an instant instead of ov their duration. You could also release an item alongside it that extends effect duration of moves of the equipped mon. (that last bit might be too much) As for supporters I want either Klefki or Grimmsnarl. I love the idea of Grimmsnarls Unite Move gigantamaxing it kind of like Hoop unbound.

Only 2-3 Pokémon from the list of possible playables for China could be all rounders. Gholdengo is a spread special attacker, bramble ghost has slighty above average attack and abilities for speedster, and Miltank fits defender or wigglytuff rollout with healing support. Gholdengo is pokemon 1000 and is special so the whole it being in a game mode doesn’t matter because it was going to get a game mode anyways. It makes no sense for some of these Pokémon to be all rounders when many of them don’t even have good attack stats, abilities, or game/tv lore for it like other all rounders do. They realistically can’t just keep releasing only all rounders. Right now they’re releasing them all together because it’s easy for them to make similar roles and next year we’ll probably have an all rounder drought.

That is an interesting perspective the one about casters and the story tellers hyping up worlds and sort of neglecting the regional sides May I recommend you guys check out eyesheild 21, they hype up the Christmas ball
