if you had used the shaft from a screwdriver, in between scale and liner slowly pushed towards lanyard, it would have popped off been easier and not broken your scale. no punctuating needed.

Congrats… I lost one up at work on the mountain! Then the middle of night it came to me as to where it was… so I was happy the next morning! I went right to where I remembered it in my sleep!!!

Awesome that you found it. Fun rambling in the dark when you need to find something lol. A UV light help as well if you put something that reacts to UV on the FOB. You can also get light reflecting paracord as well and use that. You should put a piece of shock cord or even an elastic hairband through the lanyard hole on the fixie and loop it through the clip itself to keep it from coming out. Creates another step when you want to pull it out (having to pull the shock cord or hairband out of the top of the clip) but keeps it from falling out by itself. I use them on ferro rods as well to keep from falling out of the holders once they are used a bit. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
